About the application

A few things to understand about our new application process-   Vendor Benefits when Creating an Account:
• Vendors will be able to message easily within Eventeny with Market Lane when you have any questions or concerns. A simple chat rather than lots of emails!
• All vendor information is saved and you do not have to input all your information every time you fill out an application for Market Lane events.   Booth Fee Payments: • A credit/debit card is required to apply, however, your credit card will NOT be charged unless you are accepted (approved) to participate in our market.   If you are only participating in one weekend, your full booth fee will be charged upon approval.   If you are participating in multiple weekends, the first half of your total booth fees will be charged upon approval to the card provided. The remainder of your total booth fees will be charged on November 1st to the card provided. Please be aware of those dates and make sure the card you want charged for your booth fee is the card you input. All booth fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.   • Youth vendors are required to input a credit card but will NOT be charged as their booth fee is FREE.    

About the event

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ: Join us for a month of Markets at the Outlets in Traverse Mountain in the Grand Lobby Mezzanine! Six weekend markets just in time for the Holidays. Join us for workshops, the Outlets tree lighting, Black Friday, and more! There are SIX weekends to participate: • November 17-19 (Annual Tree Lighting) • November 24-26 (Black Friday) • November 30 - December 3 • December 7-10 • December 14-17 • December 21-23 Choose as many as you can commit to. PAYMENT: If you are accepted into multiple weekends, half of your booth fee will be charged upon approval and the remainder will be charged on November 1, 2023. Set-up will take place the evening before the first market day of each weekend. You will have two take-down options - the evening of the last market day or the following morning (non-market day). If you are participating in multiple, consecutive weekends, you will have the option to leave your display and/or products set up ready for the next market. More details will be provided in your contract if accepted into the market.

Terms & Conditions

Central Checkout: We will be providing a central checkout. We will be taking an 18% commission of total sales. This commission goes towards merchant fees, advertising, market decor, market giveaways, assistants, and other costs. Vendors are NOT required to man their booth. We understand that some vendors want to stay in their booth -- whether for better sales, explanation of products, or safety of products and displays. While we allow vendors at their booth, ALL SALES MUST nevertheless be processed through our central checkout. If you are discovered taking your own payments, you may be asked to leave the market. Displays: Vendors are responsible for the provision and security of all display items - tables, clothing racks, shelves, back drops, tablecloths, extra lighting, extension cords, etc. Access to electricity or wall space is available upon request. Absolutely NO nails or tacks of any sort are allowed on the venue walls.  Vendor ID: All sale items MUST be clearly marked with your vendor ID and price. Please use the vendor ID you input on your application.  Vendor Payment: A check will be mailed to you (to the address on your application) within 10-14 business days of the market ending. Utah Sales Tax: All Utah State Sales Tax collected will be paid by Market Lane LLC (“Market Lane,” hereafter). Market Lane is not responsible for individual vendor’s income taxes. We require a current year W-9 for all vendors. If you previously submitted a W-9 to us in 2023, you need not submit one again. Security & Risk: Market Lane will take reasonable steps to minimize theft, damage, and mistakes at the event, but it cannot guarantee that such will not occur. We will walk the venue frequently to discourage theft, as well as monitor exits and dressing rooms by reasonable means. Market Lane is not responsible for any damage to or loss of merchandise or display items that may be lost, stolen or damaged. Market Lane also is not responsible for any discrepancies between vendor’s beginning/ending inventories and Market Lane’s point-of-sale summation. Market Lane, nevertheless, will consider all reasonably-supported facts associated with such discrepancies. Liability & Indemnification: In consideration of my being allowed, as a Vendor, to participate in Market Lane’s “Pop-Up Shops,” “Markets,” or “Shows” (the “Event” or “Activity”), I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily waive and release any and all of my rights, claims, or causes of action of any kind whatsoever arising out of my participation in the Activity. Furthermore, I do hereby release and forever discharge Market Lane, its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, staff, assistants, employees, volunteers, heirs, representatives, predecessors, successors and assigns from any and all claims for damages due to physical, psychological, or other injury, including but not limited to illness, paralysis, death, damages, economic or emotional loss, that I may suffer as a result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity, including travel to and from any event related to this Activity. Vendors also agree to be personally liable for any and all injury or damage to other vendors, visitors, customers, or any person or to property which is caused by or may occur by their own products/merchandise or displays before the show, during the show or at take down. Vendors are responsible for their own licensing, permits and insurance.
