About the event

The City of Mountain View, Arkansas welcomes everyone to the 62nd Annual Arkansas Folk Festival April 19th and 20th. Take a walk around the historic downtown area and see many window displays, the Artisans Market featuring handmade arts and crafts, antique cars, food vendors, and of course, live music! The parade is Saturday and begins at 10 a.m. The Ozark Folk Center has free shuttle service to and from the court square. Bring your instruments and have some fun with us pickin' and grinnin'!

Browse through our applications and let us know if you have any questions.This is an electronic agreement and by selecting the booths, you are validating and approving this agreement electronically.Categories:Artists may apply in up to 3 categories. You must submit a separate application for each category.If you sell jewelry, you may apply in a category other than Jewelry if jewelry is less than 10% of your items for sale. Otherwise, you must apply in Jewelry. All work displayed in the booth must be for sale.Clay: Original clay and porcelain work, functional or sculptural.Fiber: Includes wearable and non-wearable. No machine-tooled, machine-screen printing, or other forms of mass production are accepted.Glass: Functional and sculptural work is accepted. Kiln forming, blowing, molding, or casting, as well as all cold working processes are permitted. Jewelry: Only those artists accepted in the jewelry category may display or sell jewelry. Items made from commercial parts may not be exhibited.Metal: Sculptural or decorative work made from metal. No jewelry will be accepted in this category.Mixed Media: Work which combines materials from two or more mediums in one piece.Musical Instruments: Handmade instruments.Natural Materials: This includes basket weaving, chair caning, brooms, gourds, and other works made from materials found in nature.Photography: Includes traditional film photography, hand-colored images, emulsion transfers, and digital photography. Only artist’s original source material is acceptable. Printmaking: Only hand-pulled original prints are allowed. Prints must be in limited editions, signed, and numbered.Sculpture: Three-dimensional work using additive or subtractive processes in a single medium.Two-Dimensional: Drawing, painting, and digital works. Reproduction prints are not allowed.Wood: Original works that are hand tooled, machine-worked, turned or carved.

Terms & Conditions

1. Fee includes one 10 x 10 space. You must provide your own tent(s), table(s), and chair(s). Vendor space is limited. 
2. Your contract applications will be processed on a first come first serve basis. Vendors will NOT choose their locations; this is left to the discretion of the Chamber of Commerce. You may REQUEST a location, but this is not a guarantee. If your application has been accepted, you will be notified by email. 
3. No refunds or rainchecks for vendor space. This is a rain or shine event. This event is outside. 
4. We reserve the right to select vendors so that we have a broad representation of products.
5. All products must be hand crafted items. The Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to terminate this agreement if your items are not hand crafted. 
6. There is a $50.00 returned check fee and ban from any Chamber of Commerce events. 
7. Set up time is 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, April 14th. Booths are to be open no later than NOON on Friday. Booths are to be open no later than 9:00 AM on Saturday April 15th. You may not tear down your booth any earlier than 4:00 PM on both event days. As a safety precaution NO one will be permitted to set-up prior to 8:00 AM on Friday as the streets will not be officially closed to thru traffic. You must be present for both days. If you leave earlier than specified times you will be permanently banned from all Chamber of Commerce events.
8. No vehicles will be allowed in the festival area later than 1/2 hour prior to starting time. Due to the nature of vendor load-in, there is a strict limit of one vehicle per vendor space during load-in. During load-in time, vendors are to pull into their designated area, unload all items and then move their vehicle. You can assemble your vendor area once you have removed your vehicle. This ensures that every vendor will have enough time to unload and set up before the beginning of the festival. 
9. Peabody Avenue will be one-way Friday and Saturday, entering from Washington Ave. and exiting onto Main Street. DO NOT try to enter Peabody Ave. from Main Street. DO NOT try to exit Peabody through Mi Pueblito Parking lot. The Chamber of Commerce does not provide parking to vendors. Parking is first come first serve public parking. 
10. All vendors must list every item to be sold in their booth. We reserve the right to not accept applications. If your application has been denied you will be notified by email. 
11. All canopy tents must be weighted at the corners to protect against high winds. No stakes in the pavement. 
12. Break down. When it is time for you to leave, please break down your tent and items and THEN bring your vehicle around to load. This helps us keep traffic moving and keeps confusion down. Please clean your area of ALL trash and debris. 
13. Your permit if for FRIDAY and SATURDAY ONLY. You MUST be gone from Peabody Ave. no later than 8 PM Saturday.
