Terms & Conditions

This is unlike any other hot sauce competitions or expos because this is for charity! All entry fees go towards, event overhead and Old Boney Mountain Foundation for Kids. All entries must be received by May 1 to be eligible.

1.    Please remember, entries must be received by mail no later than May 1, 2024. Please send at least 2 bottles of each entry to:

If you are entering the same sauce in multiple divisions only one extra bottle per division is required (in addition to the original 2 bottles)
2.    Please be sure to read the contest rules prior to sending in your products. Also ensure that you include the division(s) each sauce is entered into with your package.
3.    We are dedicated to promoting our small batch hot sauce industry. We have weekly YouTube videos that could someday be promoting your sauce. Go to “Hot Sauce Grotto” "Tasting Notes" on YouTube and subscribe. If you have a paragraph or two of what you would want people to know about your company or sauces or even promotional material, you'd like us to use to help promote your business, please include them with your sauces when you send them in. I have been asked numerous times what size -Shirt I wear. It's 2X. There is no guarantee your sauces will be on the show but we will certainly make an effort to get every company who enters on it.
4. We are starting a new show on the Hot Sauce Grotto channel called "Old Boney's Fresh Batch" where we highlight new sauces you are promoting. If you have a new sauce that you have produced in the last year, or you have one coming out that you want to promote, please be sure to send us an extra bottle along with the highlights of the sauce and we'll line it up for the show! A goal of ours is to promote your business as best we can!
5.    The "World's Favorite Label" competition is back again this year. It will be completed in a “bracket” format where judges will whittle down all entries ultimately to the round of 8. In the round of 8, all hot sauce companies will decide who the final 4 contestants are. The top 4 will be voted on by the PEOPLE at our  People's Choice event along with our People’s Choice hot sauce finalists.  Please make sure you included the most favorable pictures of the sauce labels you'd like entered in the label contest. The top 3 favorite individual bottle labels will earn a trophy and a title. "PEOPLE'S CHOICE WORLD'S FAVORITE LABEL". Everyone in the world will have the opportunity to vote on the top 4 labels.

Prices

Enter here if you are entering only one (1) sauce. $75 Non-refundable If you are entering only one (1) sauce in one division, the entry fee is $75 plus a 5.9% processing fee. Be sure to upload a picture of your entry in the "picture" section of this registration.
Enter here if you are entering only two (2) sauces. $150 Non-refundable If you are entering only two (2) sauces in 1 division per sauce (any division), the entry fee is $150. plus a 5.9% processing fee .Be sure to upload pictures of all entries in the "picture" section of this registration.
Enter here if you are entering three (3) or more sauces. (unlimited number of entries) $200 Non-refundable If you are entering three (3) or more sauces the entry fee is $200 plus a processing fee of 5.9%. You can enter as many sauces as you would like to enter in as many divisions as you choose by selecting this payment option. Be sure to upload pictures of all entries in the "picture" section of this registration.

(List all that apply) If you paid for 1 entry you can enter 1 division, 2 entries two divisions, 3 entries as many divisions and sauces as you like. ***if you would like to see a new division for any one of your sauces or products, please make a note in "Category" "New Division" the name of the division you would like to add "Spicy Snacks" or "Hot Honey" (or whatever). There is an extra $75 charge to add or enter any added divisions.
