These rules are in place to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming experience for all guests. 1. Event Details Foodie’s Fandom Night Market is an outdoor food market taking place: Dates: April 10–12, 2026 Location: Plaza de Cesar Chavez on Market Street, Downtown San Jose (next to the San Jose Convention Center) Hours: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM daily Admission: Free admission (no ticket required for entry) This event is part of FandomCon 2026 event weekend. FandomCon convention activities take place indoors, while the Night Market is held outdoors. 2. Admission & Entry Entry is first come, first served and subject to capacity limits. Event staff may temporarily pause entry for safety, crowd control, or emergency reasons. Admission is free; however, food, beverages, and vendor items are not free unless explicitly stated. 3. Weather & Outdoor Conditions Foodie’s Fandom Night Market is held outdoors and will operate rain or shine unless conditions become unsafe. Attendees acknowledge: Weather may affect vendor availability, seating, and event operations. The event may be modified, delayed, paused, or closed for safety reasons due to weather or other circumstances. 4. Purchases & Vendor Transactions All food, beverages, merchandise, and services are sold by independent vendors. All sales are final, unless a vendor states otherwise. The event organizer is not responsible for vendor pricing, payment methods, refunds, exchanges, or product quality. Guests should confirm ingredients, allergens, and dietary information directly with the vendor before purchasing. 5. Food Safety & Allergies Guests assume full responsibility for food choices and consumption. Vendors may use common allergens including (but not limited to) nuts, dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, and shellfish. The organizer cannot guarantee allergen-free food or cross-contamination prevention. If you have severe allergies, consult vendors directly and use caution. 6. Conduct & Guest Behavior Foodie’s Fandom Night Market is a family-friendly event. All guests must: Treat staff, vendors, and other attendees with respect Follow posted signage and instructions from event staff/security Refrain from harassment, threats, violence, disruptive behavior, or illegal activity The organizer reserves the right to remove any person from the event at any time for safety or misconduct. 7. Prohibited Items For safety and comfort, the following may be prohibited at the discretion of event staff: Weapons of any kind Illegal substances Fireworks or explosives Drones Alcohol Large coolers or large bags (subject to search) Anything deemed unsafe or disruptive Security may deny entry or request removal of prohibited items. 8. Bag Checks & Security To maintain a safe environment, guests may be subject to: Bag checks Visual inspection of carried items Security screening Refusal to comply may result in denied entry. 9. Alcohol & Smoking Policy Alcohol is not permitted. Smoking/vaping may be restricted to designated areas (if applicable). Guests must comply with all local laws and venue restrictions. 10. Photography, Video & Media Release By entering the event area, you grant permission for the organizer and its partners to photograph, film, and record you. These images/videos may be used for: Promotional content Social media Advertising Press and recap materials If you do not wish to be recorded, please avoid camera areas and notify staff when possible (note: complete avoidance cannot be guaranteed in public spaces). 11. Liability Waiver By attending, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. The organizer is not responsible for: Lost, stolen, or damaged personal items Injury, illness, allergic reactions, or accidents Vendor-related issues or disputes Delays, closures, or event changes due to weather, safety, or other factors Guests are responsible for their personal safety and belongings at all times. 12. Children & Minors Children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Guardians assume responsibility for minors at all times. 13.
