Black History Month Southern Soul Sponsorship Event Description Join us for a powerful and flavorful celebration of Black History Month through the rich traditions of Southern Soul culture. This special event honors Black excellence, heritage, and resilience with an unforgettable experience featuring southern soul music, classic cuisine, storytelling, and community connection. Attendees will enjoy live entertainment, authentic Southern soul food, and cultural highlights that pay tribute to the history and influence of Black communities across generations. The event will bring together community leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and supporters in an atmosphere rooted in pride, joy, and togetherness. Sponsorship partners will receive prominent brand visibility, direct engagement with a diverse and highly engaged audience, and the opportunity to align their brand with cultural celebration, community empowerment, and Black history. By sponsoring this event, you help preserve traditions, uplift voices, and support meaningful community impact.

Terms & Conditions

Event Terms and Conditions Black History Month Southern Soul 1. Acceptance of Terms By participating in, attending, or engaging with the Black History Month Southern Soul (“Event”), all attendees, vendors, performers, sponsors, and participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as all applicable City of Morrow policies, venue regulations, and local laws. 2. Admission and Participation Admission and participation may require registration or approval by the City. The City reserves the right to deny entry or remove any individual who violates these Terms or behaves in a manner deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. All participants must comply with staff directions and posted signage at all times. 3. Conduct and Behavior Respectful behavior toward staff, volunteers, vendors, and fellow attendees is expected at all times. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of abusive conduct will not be tolerated. Smoking, vaping, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the venue. 4. Safety and Health Attendees and vendors must follow all Health and Safety Guidelines established for the Event. Cooking or open flames inside the venue are strictly prohibited. Approved food vendors may use chafing dishes or warming trays in compliance with fire and health regulations. All electrical equipment and displays must be inspected and approved by City of Morrow staff prior to use. In case of emergency, attendees must follow staff and emergency personnel instructions immediately. 5. Property and Liability The City of Morrow is not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to any personal property. Vendors and participants are responsible for securing their own equipment, merchandise, and materials. Attendees participate at their own risk. 6. Photography, Video, and Media Release The Event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. By entering the venue, you consent to the use of your likeness, image, and voice by the City for promotional, archival, or marketing purposes, unless a written opt-out request is submitted before the Event. 7. Vendors and Sponsors Vendors and sponsors must comply with all City, venue, and health department regulations. Booth spaces and materials must be kept clean, safe, and within assigned areas. Unauthorized sales, raffles, or solicitation outside of approved agreements are prohibited. Vendors using chafing fuel or electrical warmers must follow all fire safety procedures. 8. Prohibited Items and Activities To ensure the safety and comfort of all attendees, the following are prohibited: Weapons, fireworks, or hazardous materials Alcohol, illegal substances, or glass containers Cooking or heating food (except by approved vendors) Unauthorized audio/visual equipment or amplified sound Animals, except certified service animals 9. Event Changes and Cancellations The City reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. Updates will be communicated through official City channels and social media. 10. Accessibility The City of Morrow strives to provide accessible and inclusive events for all community members. Compliance Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in removal from the Event and/or denial of participation in future City events. 12.
