Guidelines and Requirements for Event Sponsors
Introduction
Event sponsorship is a partnership between an organization or individual (the sponsor) and Iacon Expo, where the sponsor provides financial or in-kind support in exchange for promotional opportunities and brand visibility. To ensure a successful and ethical collaboration, it is important to establish clear rules and guidelines for event sponsorship.
Eligibility Requirements
• Sponsors must be legally registered businesses, nonprofit organizations, or individuals with a proven track record of ethical conduct.
• Sponsors should align with the values and mission of the event and the organizing entity.
• Sponsorships from organizations involved in illegal, unethical, or controversial activities will not be accepted.
Sponsorship Levels and Benefits
• Benefits may include logo placement, speaking opportunities, booth space, inclusion in marketing materials, and social media mentions, depending on the level of support.
• The value of each sponsorship level must be proportionate to the benefits received.
Application and Approval Process
1. Interested sponsors must submit a completed sponsorship application form by the designated deadline.
2. Applications will be reviewed for eligibility, alignment with event values, and fit with sponsorship objectives.
3. Approved sponsors will receive a written agreement outlining all terms, benefits, and obligations.
Financial and In-Kind Contributions
• All contributions, whether financial or in-kind, must be clearly documented and acknowledged.
• Payment schedules and delivery of in-kind goods/services must be agreed upon in advance.
• Refunds or cancellations are subject to the terms outlined in the sponsorship agreement.
Branding and Promotional Guidelines

Code of Conduct
• Sponsors must abide by the event’s code of conduct and maintain professional behavior at all times.
• Any actions that damage the reputation of the event or organizing entity may result in termination of the sponsorship agreement.
Termination and Dispute Resolution
• The event organizer reserves the right to terminate the sponsorship agreement if the sponsor violates any rules or terms.
• Disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration, as outlined in the agreement.
