About the event

Baton Rouge Pride Fest is a free, family-friendly celebration of the LGBTQ+ community that brings together people of all ages to honor diversity, inclusion, and unity. Inspired by this year’s theme, “This Is What Pride Feels Like,” Pride Fest is more than an event—it’s a shared experience of joy, visibility, and connection. The festival features a full day of live entertainment, community engagement, and inclusive programming for all ages. At the center of Pride Fest is The Rainbow Exchange, a vibrant marketplace and resource fair showcasing queer artists, small businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. Attendees can shop unique goods, access local resources, and enjoy free services like HIV testing and PrEP education, along with activities such as Drag Queen Story Time. Made possible by the support of sponsors, vendors, and donors, Baton Rouge Pride Fest is a powerful celebration of pride, belonging, and community—because this is what pride feels like.
