About the application

CR Pride is a local nonprofit committed to celebrating, supporting, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ individuals and allies across Eastern Iowa. Our work extends far beyond one day in June. Through Pride Fest, the Pride Parade, education, and year-round programming, we create spaces where people feel seen, safe, and celebrated. Sponsorships directly fund these efforts. As a nonprofit, every dollar raised is reinvested into community programming, accessibility, safety, and outreach. Your support helps keep Pride events free or low-cost, amplifies local voices, and strengthens Cedar Rapids as a welcoming place to live and work. Our sponsorship tiers are designed to grow with your organization’s level of support. Each tier builds upon the last, increasing visibility, recognition, and engagement while aligning your brand with equity, inclusion, and community impact. Sponsorship Tiers Supporter – Foundational support with name recognition on our website and social media. Logo – Enhanced visibility with logo placement, website links, and parade participation. Event – Expanded engagement including upgraded logo recognition, parade entry, and booth space. Banner – High-impact exposure with stage banner recognition and Fall Gala tickets. Title – Premium partnership featuring individual sponsor posts, prime booth placement, and volunteer t-shirt logo inclusion. Champion – Our highest level of partnership, offering top placement across platforms, a Fall Gala table, and “Presented By” recognition opportunities. Terms & Conditions

Sponsorship Terms & Conditions Sponsorship Agreement Submission of a sponsorship application constitutes an agreement between the sponsor and CR Pride. Sponsorships are confirmed upon receipt of payment or an approved payment arrangement. Application & Payment Deadlines. Sponsorship applications must be submitted no later than April 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM (CT). Full payment is due by May 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM (CT) unless a payment arrangement has been approved by CR Pride. Nonprofit Status & Use of Funds CR Pride is a nonprofit organization. All sponsorship funds directly support LGBTQIA+ community programming, events, accessibility, operations, and outreach. For-Profit vs Nonprofit Pricing CR Pride offers separate sponsorship rates for for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Applicants must select the appropriate category. CR Pride reserves the right to request verification or adjust pricing if misclassified. Deliverables & Recognition Sponsorship benefits and deliverables are tier-based and cumulative. Recognition increases with higher tiers. Placement, sizing, and timing are determined by CR Pride and may vary by platform or event. Artwork & Content Deadlines Sponsors are responsible for submitting logos, artwork, and required materials by posted deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines may result in reduced or omitted recognition without refund. Approval & Brand Alignment CR Pride reserves the right to approve or decline sponsorships to ensure alignment with organizational mission and values. Cancellations & Refunds All sponsorship payments are non-refundable. If an event is modified, postponed, or canceled, CR Pride will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable recognition. Booths, Parade Entries & On-Site Participation On-site participation is subject to event guidelines, safety requirements, and space limitations. Booth and parade locations are assigned at CR Pride’s discretion. Use of Name & Logo Sponsors grant CR Pride permission to use their name and logo for promotional and recognition purposes related to the sponsorship. Force Majeure CR Pride is not responsible for delays or changes caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather, public health concerns, or government restrictions. Acknowledgment By submitting an application, sponsors acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
