The Coloma Glad-Peach Festival, started around 1947/1948, began as a celebration of Coloma's famous gladiolus flowers ("Glad") and expanded in the 1970s to honor its booming peach crops, becoming a beloved community event with parades, food, music, and contests celebrating local agriculture and history, drawing thousands annually for a fun, family-friendly summer weekend in Southwestern Michigan.
