Sponsor Terms & Conditions
Coupeville, WA – March 7–8, 2026
Sponsorships support the success of Musselfest and provide visibility for participating businesses and organizations. By committing to a sponsorship, sponsors agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Sponsorship Commitment
- All sponsorships are subject to approval by the Coupeville Historic Waterfront Association (CHWA).
- Payment in full is required upon acceptance of sponsorship.
- Sponsorships are non-refundable except in the case of festival cancellation.
2. Sponsor Recognition
- Benefits and recognition are outlined in the Musselfest Sponsorship Package corresponding to the sponsorship level selected.
- CHWA will make every effort to provide the agreed-upon recognition but cannot guarantee specific placement, timing, or prominence beyond the outlined benefits.
3. Banner & Promotional Materials
• Sponsors may provide one of the following for display during the festival:
o Flutter flag
o Banner with grommets
• Materials must be delivered to CHWA no later than April 29, 2026.
• Banners/flags should be in good condition, weather-resistant, and professionally printed.
• CHWA reserves the right to decline banners or promotional materials deemed inappropriate or in poor condition.
• Placement of banners/flags will be determined by CHWA based on event logistics and visibility.
4. Logo & Media Use
• Sponsors must provide high-resolution logos and brand guidelines (if applicable) by the stated deadline to ensure inclusion in digital and print media.
• CHWA reserves the right to adjust or resize logos to fit design needs.
5. Independent Contractor
Sponsors are considered independent supporters of Musselfest. This agreement does not establish an employer/employee, agency, or partnership relationship between CHWA and the sponsor.
6. Conduct & Compliance
• Sponsor participation and promotions must reflect positively on Musselfest and the community.
• CHWA reserves the right to remove or refuse sponsor branding, promotions, or activities that conflict with event values or community standards.
7. Liability
• Sponsors are responsible for ensuring their promotional materials and banners are safe and suitable for display.
• CHWA and Musselfest organizers are not liable for loss, theft, or damage to sponsor-provided materials.
Acknowledgment
By submitting a sponsorship commitment and payment, sponsors acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
