The Tapestry of Black Voices Awards (TBVA) is a free, community-centered virtual Juneteenth celebration presented by Conversations in Color. TBVA honors the everyday voices that shape Black communities—educators, students, artists, organizers, business owners, elders, and neighbors—whose lived experiences often go unheard. Rooted in conversation, connection, and cultural memory, the Awards uplift short, recorded conversations that reflect culture, education, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community life. TBVA is not about celebrity or competition, but about preservation, reflection, and collective progress.
