Gerald L. Coleman is a philosopher, theologian, poet, and SF&F author. He did his undergraduate work in philosophy, english, and religious studies, followed by a master's degree in Theology. He’s served as a Scholastic National Writing Juror, is a Co-founder of the Affrilachian Poets, a Rhysling Award Nominee, a Locust Award Nominee (anthology contributor), an NAACP Image Award winner (anthology contributor), and is a Fellow at the Black Earth Institute. He’s been a guest author at conventions, conferences, colleges, and universities. His newest release is a collection of poems and essays entitled Incendiary: Poems & Essays (Fall 2025).
