Suzanne Beauchaine retired in 2025 after 27 years with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, including 13 years as Refuge Manager at Alamosa and Monte Vista National Wildlife Refuges. With a degree in Wildlife Ecology and Management, she worked across WY, CO, UT, and MT. A lifelong lover of birds, plants, and public lands, she delights in sharing the joy of seeing sandhill cranes—whether for the first time or the 99th.
