Gail Garber has led Hawks Aloft since its founding in 1994, guiding its work in conservation education, avian research, raptor rescue, and collaboration. With a background in education and field research, she has authored peer-reviewed papers and articles for the public, and leads international birding tours. Gail also brings a creative side to her work as an internationally known professional quilt maker, author, judge, and instructor.
