Join us for the 2nd annual Pride Parade in the City of Reading. Parade route and details will be posted as they become available.

Welcome to the 2nd annual Pride Parade, we are so thankful to have you join us. This application is for your group to participate with us in the parade. New this year, groups will be able to have floats or decorated vehicles. 
 
All groups are encouraged to be creative displaying your PRIDE. Groups may bring give aways for spectators but should not throw anything into the crowd. Items will need to be handed to spectators. 
 
 
All groups must have at least one representative attend our virtual prep call where we will discuss safety and details. Groups who fail to have representation on the call will not be allowed to march. 
 
All applicants are informed that this event is Rain or Shine, and fees are non refundable. All applicants must abide by the rules provided by Reading Pride. Vehicles & Floats will be allowed this year & music is welcome.
 
All marchers must follow the parade route and directions of the volunteers. police and city officials along the way. Line ups will be sent out a week before the festival. 
 
 
Important note: While we do not expect protesters, they are always likely to show up. Attendees understand that it is their right to express their freedom of speech and will not engage with them. Marchers are to continue passed any protester as if they were not there. This does not mean we walk by them silently, but instead continue showing our pride and hold our heads high as we walk by them.
