• Participants must be 18+
• Each contestant will take on 2 lbs of boiled asparagus
• Fastest to finish wins!
? Grand Prize: First place earns the honor of serving as Grand Marshal of Saturday’s parade!

By participating in the Asparagus Eating Competition at the 2026 National Asparagus Festival, I acknowledge and agree to the following:
☐ I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older.
☐ I understand that this is a timed asparagus eating competition and agree to follow all official rules and instructions provided by event staff.
☐ I confirm that I am physically able to participate in this activity.
☐ I understand that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to choking, nausea, or physical discomfort.
☐ I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in this event.
☐ I release and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from my participation.
☐ I consent to the use of my name, image, and likeness in photographs and/or video recordings for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.
