Tekko 2026 - Masquerade Craftsmanship

In the Craftsmanship Contest, cosplayers are judged on the construction of their costume in a private, scheduled interview with a panel of experienced judges.

• This application is for craftsmanship only at Tekko 2026. For performance, please fill out the separate performance application.
• If you are entering as a group, please submit only ONE form. The person submitting will be responsible for sharing the necessary information to the other group members.

Judging slots are available on Friday July 24th from 6pm to 8pm, and Saturday July 25th from 10:00am - 2:00pm. Entrants with a Friday judging time slot may participate in the skit portion of the performance event. Entrants with a Saturday judging slot may only participate in the walk-on section of the performance contest. Preference for a Friday or Saturday time slot is part of this application form.

To the best of my knowledge, the costume I am entering is eligible to compete. I will do my best to present my costume truthfully to the judges.

I understand that while build books (reference images, work-in-progress photos, additional written info on my costume etc) are not required, they are immensely helpful for the judges to fully and accurately evaluate my costume.

If I decide not to compete and withdraw my application, I will notify the organizer (libby.wentz@pittjcs.org) as soon as possible. This is a courtesy to waitlisted applicants. Failure to do so may affect my eligibility to compete in future craftsmanship contests.

Communication will be done via email. Phone numbers or social media handles will be used only for emergencies or last minute contact. The code for the form is 1337.
