Get ready for a full day of springtime fun at Blooms & Brews Spring Fest presented by Cumulus Media, a vibrant outdoor festival celebrating local flavor, live music, and family-friendly fun at Weeks Bay Plantation. This all-day festival brings together craft beers, cocktails, food trucks, live music, and interactive activities in a beautiful natural setting — with something for every age and every vibe. What to Expect (All Day 10 AM – 5 PM) • Craft beers & specialty cocktails • Food trucks serving up festival favorites • Live music all day (11am–5pm) featuring : - Elise Taylor - Dillon Atwood - Just Roger - Zoe Burdett - Johnny Hayes • Exotic Petting Zoo (pet a kangaroo or cuddle a donkey! $5 admission) • Adoptions with The Haven • Kids Zone with bounce houses, inflatable games, balloon twisting, and other kids activities - $5 for all day play! • Blueberry picking • And even more fun activities to explore throughout the day Blooms & Brews After Dark (6 PM – 9 PM | 21+ Only) When the sun goes down, the party turns up. About the application

We are currently looking for 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to help with Blooms & Brews Spring Fest & After Dark on April 18th at Weeks Bay Plantation in Fairhope.

 


Volunteer duties may include:

• Ticket sales and entry assistance

• Traffic and parking direction

• Assisting vendors with setup and breakdown

• Helping with general event tasks

 


Volunteer shifts will take place throughout the day and evening between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.

 


We are looking to cover three shifts, with at least 6 volunteers per shift.

 


Each participating nonprofit must be able to provide volunteers for a minimum 5-hour shift.

 

Participating nonprofits will receive a $500 donation per 5-hour shift they provide with at least eight volunteers.

Terms & Conditions

By submitting an application to participate as a volunteer organization for Blooms & Brews Spring Fest & After Dark, your organization agrees to the following terms:

 

Participating organizations must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
Each nonprofit must provide a minimum of six volunteers, with each volunteer completing at least one five-hour shift during the event.


Volunteer shifts will take place between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM on the day of the event.


Volunteers from each nonprofit do not all have to work the same shift. Individual volunteers may select the shift that works best for their schedule. However, the organization must still provide a minimum of six volunteers completing at least five hours each to qualify for the donation.
All shifts must be covered.

 

Once a shift has reached capacity, volunteers may be required to select a different available shift.


Volunteers must check in with event staff at the beginning of their shift and complete their assigned responsibilities for the full scheduled time.


Each volunteer must complete a separate volunteer application.


Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age to participate due to alcohol being served at the event.


Each nonprofit that successfully provides at least six volunteers who complete a full five-hour shift will receive a $500 donation.


Donations will be paid by check within one week following the festival.


If a nonprofit fails to provide the required number of volunteers or volunteers do not complete the full shift, the donation may be reduced or forfeited.


Blooms & Brews Spring Fest reserves the right to assign volunteer duties based on event needs.
