About the event

Tekko is Pennsylvania's largest anime convention, attracting nearly 12,000 unique and diverse fans from across the country (and world!) to the region. We aren't just any old anime convention, though. We offer so much more by featuring Japanese arcade games, J-rock, J-fashion, Japanese pop culture, and education in our programming. Additionally, we choose a unique theme every year to explore new content, such as wrestling, mecha, sports, and more. This makes us one of the most diverse anime and Japanese culture conventions in the country, and we aren't done expanding yet! Tekko is presented by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the Pittsburgh Japanese Culture Society (PittJCS) . We've been bringing fans together for more than 20 years at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

About the application

Apply to be an indie designer in the Tekko 2026 J-Fashion show!

Terms & Conditions

Accepted designers will receive the following benefits:

  • A complimentary vendor booth in exchange for two (2) donated prize(s) for the Tea Party, with a minimum value of $25 per prize. There is no upper limit on the prize value. If you prefer not to use the vendor booth, please inform us at your earliest convenience.
  • Two weekend badges.
  • Brand promotion: Your logo and brand statement will be featured on the J-Fashion portion of our website.
  •  Social media exposure: You’ll receive:
    • One individual announcement on Tekko’s social media
    •  One group announcement on Tekko’s social media

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Five to eight NEW looks to be showcased in the fashion show. These should be brand
    new items and not previously featured in past Tekko Fashion Shows.
  • Three tagged social media posts:
    • One before the fashion show (any date)
    • One on the day of the fashion show
    • One after the fashion show (before July 31st, 2026)

PLEASE NOTE: You will also be responsible for travel and lodging costs related to Tekko 2026.
