Presenter

Kink Down South Weekend is looking for passionate LGBTQ+ kink instructors to share their knowledge and expertise! Your wisdom inspires, educates, and ignites curiosity, helping new and experienced kinksters explore and refine their favorite ways to play. We're looking for a balance of 101, 201, and expert-level classes.

Application Guidelines

• Applications due May 1st, 2026
• Complete the application and upload a high-resolution photo (300 dpi) for publication.
• Submit one biography per presenter (do not combine bios).
• Up to three class concepts may be submitted for review—more than one may be selected.
• A detailed class description is required; incomplete applications will be automatically rejected.
• Diversity information is collected to help us ensure an inclusive lineup.
• Filming of classes is prohibited without prior approval.
• Reference Letters are helpful for all applications, but required for those wishing to teach a Masterclass.
• Travel and hotel expenses are not covered.*
  Demos, Classes, and Masterclasses may be held at the Host Hotel or Festival grounds and are open to all registered attendees.

Masterclass Requirements

• 60-90 minute class
• 3+ years of experience
• 1 or more references required

KDS Presenter Benefits

• Chosen presenters will receive a Weekend Pass and VIP upgrade (Limit 1 per presenter)
• Free KDS Weekend Shirt
• Presenters in good standing at the end of the weekend may request a letter of recommendation from Kink Down South for presenter applications at other events.

Kink Down South Weekend is committed to amplifying diverse voices within the kink community. We strongly encourage applications from presenters who are transgender, BIPOC, disabled, and from other marginalized backgrounds, as these perspectives are often underrepresented in kink education.

Review Process
All applications will be screened and scored by the KDS Board of Advisors. To ensure a high-quality experience for our attendees, the Board evaluates submissions based on:

• Completeness: All required fields, including detailed class descriptions and high-resolution photos, must be provided. Incomplete applications may be automatically rejected.
• Curriculum Balance: We strive for a diverse lineup of topics ranging from 101-level basics to expert Masterclasses.
• Representation: In alignment with our commitment to Amplifying Diverse Voices, we prioritize a lineup that reflects a breadth of lived experiences, including but not limited to BIPOC, transgender, and disabled presenters.

2. Community Standing & Ethics
KDS is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment. By submitting this application, you attest to the following:

• Good Standing: Applicants must be in good standing within the kink/BDSM community and with previous organizations or events where they have presented.
• Conduct Standards: KDS reserves the right to reject any applicant with a documented history of abusive behavior, harassment, or the promotion of harmful slurs and imagery.
• Integrity of Information: Any misrepresentation of experience or credentials may result in the immediate disqualification of your application or removal from the event schedule.

3. Final Authority
The KDS Board of Advisors holds final discretion over presenter selection. Due to the high volume of applications, submission does not guarantee a slot in the 2026 program.
