Petals & Pints Car Show 2026

Show off your classic car, hot rod, or unique vehicle at Petals & Pints set for Saturday, March 21 at Santa Fe Plaza in Temple, Texas from 2pm to 8pm.

The car show will run 3pm to 6:30pm. Awards will be presented to the top four vehicles PLUS a People’s Choice Winner. Judging will take place from 4pm to 5:30pm with winners announced at 6:15pm. Vehicles are permitted to leave once judging concludes.
People's Choice Award voting will be open from 3pm to 6pm.

No late or day-of registration will be accepted.

The Petals & Pints car show will run 3pm to 6:30pm, judging will take place from 4pm to 5:30pm with winners announced at 6:15pm. Vehicles can stay in place for the duration of the event, though if a participant's vehicle exits the car show area they will not be allowed to re-enter.

In order to be accepted into the car show you must submit a minimum of 2 photos of your vehicle. Registration is free, if you would like to be considered for judging you must pay the judging fee of $20 (addtional fees may apply) - you will not be charged until your application is accepted. Only the vehicles that opt in and pay the judging fee will be considered for the 4 judged categories - no fee is associated with the People's Choice Award, all vehicles that register for the show will be included. People's Choice Award voting will be open from 3pm to 6pm. The judging criteria is listed below. 

The maximum number of points available per category is 25. Staying with your vehicle during the judging period is not required, but it could help address any questions the judges may have. 

Your window placard must be placed in plain view on the driver’s side of the front window/dashboard. Your vehicle must have its hood up and windows down. Trunks may remain closed. Failure to have the hood up and full access to the interior of the vehicle will result in a loss of ALL points for that category.

Participants will be judged on the following categories. Judges will not share judging criteria, info, or decisions. Judges’ decisions are final. 

INTERIOR (25 Points): Cracks in the dash, Condition of instruments, steering wheel, headliner, and visor including cleanliness, Seats – condition and cleanliness, Door Panels – condition and cleanliness, Carpets, Mats, Floor Treatment and Overall Appearance – cleanliness, detail, and quality of workmanship.

EXTERIOR AND PAINT (25 Points): Fit of hood, trunk, door panels, lack of body damage or evidence of repair, Front and Back Body – condition and cleanliness, Glass – condition and cleanliness, Condition of Paint and/or Graphics Wrap (Chips, Cracks, Pits), Uniformity of color, Smoothness of surface, luster, polish, shine, gloss and overall appearance – cleanliness, detail, quality of workmanship.

ENGINE (25 Points): Cleanliness – No oil, water spots, debris etc., Paint – Engine, Firewall, Fenders, Radiator, etc., Assembly Detail – loose wires, plumbing, and wire routing, Overall Appearance – cleanliness, detail, quality of workmanship.

WHEELS AND TIRES (25 Points): Matching – Tires, Wheels or Hub Caps, Condition – Tires, Wheels or Hub Caps, Overall Appearance – wheels and tires must be clean.

AWARDS

Awards will be presented to the highest scoring vehicle from each categoy PLUS a People’s Choice Winner at 4:45pm - any ties will be decided by the car show coordinator.
