About the event

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Newnan Porchfest! Newnan Porchfest is a FREE music & arts festival in Newnan, GA, where the rich history and vibrant culture of Downtown Newnan come alive through music, art, and community! Our inaugural event in 2025 brought more than 10,000 people together to enjoy dozens of bands, artists, and musicians performing on the porches of historic homes, along with food and drinks from local vendors, handcrafted art and goods, and VIP experiences hosted by the Newnan-Coweta History Center — the organization that Porchfest proudly benefits. Porchfest is a family-friendly, dog-friendly celebration that turns the whole town into a stage. From kids’ activities and games to a free after-party concert for music lovers, there’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to bring the community together once again on May 30, 2026!

About the application

Porch Host applications are now open for Newnan Porchfest! Because of permitting requirements and street closures, we’re only able to accept Porch Host homes within the Historic College–Temple neighborhood—specifically:

College St. (from W. Washington to Clark St.)
Temple Ave. (from Dent St. to Jackson St.)
Wesley St. (from St. Clair St. to Jackson St.)

As a Porch Host, your only must-haves are:

  1. A “stage” (your porch!) for the musicians to perform on, and
  2. Access to power for the band.

If you’re not sure your porch can support adequate power, no worries—just email us at info@newnanporchfest.com and let us know. We have a limited number of generators available to help fill the gaps.

Band hospitality (water, a place to set a case, a quick hello, etc.) is always appreciated—but it’s totally optional.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a Porch Host application for Newnan Porchfest (“Festival”), the homeowner/property representative (“Host”) agrees to these Terms & Conditions and confirms they have the authority to grant permission to use the property for Festival-related performance activity.
  2. Eligibility and Approved Streets
Due to permitting and street closure requirements, only homes located within the Historic College–Temple neighborhood are eligible. At this time, the Festival can only accept Porch Host locations on:
College St. (W. Washington to Clark St.)
Temple Ave. (Dent St. to Jackson St.)
Wesley St. (St. Clair St. to Jackson St.)
Submitting an application outside these boundaries may result in automatic disqualification.
  3. Application Review and Scheduling
Submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance. The Festival reserves the right to approve, deny, or revoke a Porch Host placement at its sole discretion, including for safety, logistics, neighborhood flow, accessibility, scheduling, or permitting reasons. Performance times, band assignments, and set durations are determined by the Festival and may change.
  4. Host Responsibilities
    Hosts are required to provide:
    a) A safe, stable performance space (porch) suitable for a small live music performance, and
    b) Access to electrical power for the performing musicians.
Hosts agree to keep the performance area reasonably clear of hazards (e.g., loose steps/rails, slippery surfaces, exposed nails, unstable furniture, unsafe wiring, etc.) and to allow reasonable access for band load-in/load-out.
  5. Electrical Power and Generator Requests
If a Host believes their porch cannot provide adequate power, the Host must notify Festival organizers as soon as possible by emailing info@newnanporchfest.com. The Festival has a limited number of generators available and cannot guarantee generator placement for every request. If a generator is provided, the Host agrees to follow all Festival instructions for safe placement and use.
  6. Hospitality
Hospitality toward musicians (water, a small snack, restroom access, shade, etc.) is welcomed but not required. If the Host chooses to offer hospitality, it is at the Host’s discretion and responsibility.
  7. Safety, Access, and Crowd Management
Hosts agree to cooperate with Festival staff/volunteers regarding safety and neighborhood flow.
  8. Property Use Rules
Hosts may set reasonable, non-discriminatory house/porch rules (e.g., “no smoking on porch,” “do not enter home,” “do not block driveway”), provided they do not conflict with Festival safety guidance or applicable laws. Hosts may prohibit entry into their home. Hosts understand that the Festival cannot fully control attendee behavior.
  9. Noise and Neighbor Consideration
The Festival will make reasonable efforts to manage performance volume and scheduling. Hosts acknowledge that amplified sound and crowds are part of the event. Hosts agree to be respectful of neighbors and to notify the Festival promptly of any significant concerns during the event.
  10. Damage and Cleanup
The Festival will encourage performers and attendees to respect Host property; however, the Festival is not responsible for ordinary wear. Hosts are responsible for securing valuables and fragile items. Hosts agree to promptly report any incident or damage to Festival staff. Hosts are responsible for normal post-event cleanup on their property.
  11. Insurance
Hosts are strongly encouraged to maintain applicable homeowners/renters insurance.
  12. Weather, Emergencies, and Force Majeure
The Festival may delay, modify, relocate, or cancel performances due to weather, public safety concerns, permitting requirements, emergencies, or circumstances beyond the Festival’s control. Hosts acknowledge schedules and assignments may change accordingly.
  13. Compliance with Laws and Festival Guidelines
Hosts agree to comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and any Festival rules communicated before or during the event (including safety instructions). Any illegal activity on the Host property is prohibited.
  14. Photos, Video, and Publicity Release
Hosts acknowledge the event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded. Host grants the Festival permission to use photos/video/audio captured at or near the Host location (including images of the property exterior/porch and crowd) for Festival documentation, promotion, media, and archival purposes without compensation.
  15. Privacy and Communications
Information submitted through the application will be used for Festival operations, including scheduling and communications. The Festival may contact Hosts via email/phone using the information provided. Hosts are responsible for providing accurate and current contact information.
  16. Revocation / Removal
The Festival may remove a Host location from the schedule if conditions become unsafe, if access/power is not available as represented, if permitting requirements change, or if Host fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions or Festival guidance.
  17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
  18. Agreement
By submitting the Porch Host application, the Host confirms they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
