Dahlia Tuber Exchange Participant

The Spring To It! Dahlia Tuber Exchange is a closed, grower-only event created for Mid-Michigan dahlia growers who actively grow, trade, and share tubers.

This exchange is not a sales event. Participation is limited to registered growers who will be trading dahlia tubers with one another.

How It Works:

• Approved, paid participants will submit a list of tuber “haves” and “wants” prior to the event. For example, a list of "haves" will include your approximate number of tubers available to trade: cafe au lait (6), boom boom white (11). Then do the same for your list of "wants" you'd type your wishlist and quantity of tubers you'd like: black jack (4), maroon fox (4). 
• Allegory Market will use a custom matching system to help pair growers for equitable and efficient trades. Allegory does not assign value to tuber varieties. We are just the matchmaker & make introductions. The rest is up to you. 
• On event day, participants will complete matched trades and then have open time to make additional trades and connections with other growers.
• This event is designed to encourage collaboration, variety sharing, and relationship-building within the local dahlia community.

Eligibility & Expectations:

• Participants must be active dahlia growers.
• Tubers should be healthy, labeled, and viable.
• No cash sales are permitted during the exchange.
• Participants are expected to engage respectfully and in the spirit of fair trading.
• By applying, you acknowledge that you understand this is a trade-focused, community exchange and agree to follow all event guidelines.
