About the application

This form is for Whidbey Ren Faire participants who plan to camp on-site. If you do not need camping, you do not need to complete this form. You MUST have a previously approved participant application (i.e. vendor, food vendor, performer, volunteer application, etc.) prior to having your camping application approved.

This will help our team coordinate camping logistics and ensure your setup is identified and safe. Campsites are issued on a first come, first serve basis. Advance registration helps us ensure we have enough space for all approved participants wishing to camp.

Note: This is dry, primitive camping. There are no water or electrical hookups, so please come prepared. All primitive campsites will not exceed 20'x20' (this is large enough to accomodate one standard size tent and one standard size vehicle).

You may redeem 2 free shower vouchers at Basecamp or from the Campground coordinator upon check-in to your campsite. Public showers can be located at John Vanderzicht Memorial Pool located at 85 SE Jerome St, Oak Harbor, WA 98277.

Vehicle Access & Fees

  • You may camp in your standard-size vehicle (car, SUV, or small van) or use it as part of your tent setup at no extra charge.
  • Oversized vehicles (such as RVs, trailers longer than 20 feet, box trucks, buses, etc.) will incur a $40 oversized vehicle camping fee, even if it is your only vehicle.
  • Additional vehicles beyond your one included vehicle must be pre-approved and will incur a $20 fee per vehicle.
  • All vehicles must park in the designated participant parking area.
  • General parking areas are not authorized for participant or camping vehicles.
  • Unauthorized or unregistered vehicles may be asked to relocate or may be towed at the owner's expense.

      Camping Setup

  • Only tents and gear suitable for outdoor primitive camping are permitted.
  • Keep walkways clear and do not block shared paths, fire lanes, or emergency routes.

    Authorized Access
  • Only approved Whidbey Ren Faire participants are allowed to camp on-site.
  • Do not invite or house non-participants in the campground.

    Emergencies
  • Learn the locations of first aid stations and emergency exits.
  • In an emergency, contact event staff immediately.

    Compliance
  • All campers must follow the laws of the State of Washington and the rules of the Faire.
  • Failure to comply may result in removal from the campground and possible expulsion from the event — without refund.

Thank you for your cooperation! May your stay at Whidbey Ren Faire be safe, restful, and full of magic.
