Show Off Your Stew - Stew Fest Competition 2026!

Meat | Vegetarian | Vegan - COMPETITION
- First Prize - $25 in Market Tokens, a Grow Oak Ridge market bag or t-shirt, a hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls, and bragging rights for best stew at the market!
- Second Prize - A veggie colander or market bag, and hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls!
- Third Prize - A hand crafted spoon from Boards & Bowls!

- Deadline - Feb. 2, 2026
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bring 1 Gallon of Stew and a Ladle, in a Crock Pot or other warming device that includes one of these vegetables: carrot, sweet potato, potato, rutabaga, radish, horseradish, turnip, or parsnip. We will have electrical outlets you can use for keeping your stew warm.
- Entries must arrive by 9:45 am on Feb. 7 - Enter through Parking Lot B - Staff entrance. Stew Fest will be just inside the door.
- Please plan to stay from 10 am - 12 pm to distribute your stew to the public.
JUDGING:
- The public (aka Stew Fest tasters) will sample your stew at the market and vote on their top 3 favorites during the Stew Stroll from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
- We will announce the winner with the most votes at the market at 12 PM.
- Pick up your cookware anytime between 12:00 PM and 12:15 PM and collect your potential winnings!
- As always have fun and enjoy the market!
Terms & Conditions
INDEMNITY - By submitting this application, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grow Oak Ridge and its members and employees for any claims, damage costs and attorney fees for injuries or damages arising from my participation in Stew Fest 2026.
PERMISSION - I give permission for the use of the images supplied with this application, for promotional purposes. I give permission to link my website from the promoter's web page.
