About the application

Thank you for your interest in presenting an after hours panel at SpaCon 2026. SpaCon takes place May 16-17, 2026 at the Hot Springs Convention Center. After filling out this form, you will receive an email regarding your approval status as we draw nearer to the event.

Terms & Conditions

Have an idea for an after hours panel? Let us know!

What Is After Hours Programming?

After hours programming are panels ranging in length from 30 minutes to an hour that are preseted to attendees in a panel room after the con floor closes (6pm on Saturday). After hours programming serves as an alternative to other after hours events taking place in conjunction with the convention.

After hours programming is still open to all ages, but the restrictions on language and topics are more relaxed than at traditional fan panels presented during the con hours. Please be aware that there may be minors in attendance.

After hours programming may not contain explicit nudity, violence (explicit or implied), or attacks on any individual or demographic group based on age, race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, etc.

Examples of after hours panels that would be appropriate include:

  • References in Kids Entertainment I Didn't Get Until I Was Older
  • Spicy Cosplay: How to Create the Illusion without Being Indecent
  • The Broken Men of Anime and How to Fix Them
  • Ranking The Muppets as Potential Romantic Partners
  • Taking It Back: Exploring the Evolution of Language through the Lens of the Filmography of Kevin Smith

...and so on.

Submisions

Fill out the following form to the best of your ability. If your submission is selected, we will reach out to you to confirm your approval as we near the event.

  • Selected applicants are expected to be at their panel room or programming stage no less than 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
  • Unless there is an emergency, selected panelist and performers are expected to meet their panel or programming commitment. Failure to do so could result in being blacklisted from future VXV Event applications.
  • Because all of our events are all-ages events, all panels and performances are to remain family-friendly. If any panelist or performer deviates from all-ages content, they may be escorted from the panel room or stage and may be blacklisted from future VXV Event applications.

Please only submit one panel for one event at a time. If you would like to submit multiple panels/performances for one event, one panel/performance for multiple events, or multiple panels/performances for multiple events, please fill out a separate Panel/Performance Application for each panel/performance for each event.

Applicants who present multiple panels and/or at multiple VXV Events shows will be given priority consideration.
