About the application
MotionX K-Pop Battle Royale is a high-energy group dance tournament showcasing the best K-pop crews in the community. Teams of four or more members will battle it out for 1 min and 30 sec for different rounds on stage with synchronized choreography, powerful performances, and creative concepts. This event brings dancers, fans, and creators together for an exciting, competitive, and unforgettable K-pop experience. Songs can be the same or different for each round; but the final 2 teams remaining will have to perform a 3-5 min song.
Terms & Conditions
1. General Information
By registering for the MXC-Con K-Pop Battle Royale, all competitors agree to follow all event rules, staff instructions, and venue guidelines. Submission does not guarantee acceptance; the event team reserves the right to approve or decline any application.
2. Eligibility Requirements
• All participants must be 13+ or have written parental consent.
• Every team member must have a valid convention ticket/badge to compete.
• Teams must have a minimum of four (3) members.
• All member names must be accurately listed during sign-up.
3. Performance Rules
• Performances must be based on K-pop choreography or K-pop-inspired concepts.
• Content must be family-friendly or teen-appropriate.
• No explicit lyrics, unsafe stunts, or dangerous movements.
• Performances must stay within the assigned time limit.
• Music must be clean, properly edited, and submitted by the deadline.
4. Props & Costumes
• Props must be safe, easy to carry, and quick to set up/clear.
• No fire, liquids, glitter dumps, projectiles, sharp items, or hazardous props.
• Costumes must be secure and appropriate for a public event space.
5. Check-In & Call Time
• Teams must check in at least 30 minutes before their scheduled performance.
• Teams who miss call time may forfeit their slot or be disqualified.
• No-shows will not be refunded and may be banned from future competitions.
6. Stage & Technical Guidelines
• No moving or altering stage equipment without approval.
• Performers must respect stage boundaries and avoid reckless behavior.
• Music must be submitted in the requested file format.
• The sound team is not responsible for last-minute audio issues due to incorrect files.
7. Judging & Scoring
• All scores are final and based on the judge panel’s evaluation.
• Judging categories may include: Synchronization, Choreography Execution, Stage Presence, Creativity, Energy, and Overall Performance.
• Poor sportsmanship, complaining, or harassment toward judges or staff will result in disqualification.
8. Conduct & Sportsmanship
• Respect must be shown to all competitors, judges, staff, and attendees.
• Harassment, bullying, or aggressive behavior will result in removal from the event.
• Teams are responsible for maintaining a positive environment on and off stage.
9. Health & Safety
• Competitors must be physically able to perform safely.
• If any member feels unwell or injured, notify staff immediately.
• Organizers may stop a performance if a safety risk is observed.
10. Liability
MXC-Con, event organizers, venue staff, and affiliates are not responsible for injuries, lost items, damaged personal belongings, or accidents during the event. Participants perform at their own risk.
11. Media Release
By participating, competitors grant MXC-Con permission to photograph, film, and use footage of performances for promotional purposes.
12. Cancellations & Refunds
• Competition fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizer.
• Teams must notify organizers immediately if they need to withdraw.
13. Agreement
By submitting an application, all team members acknowledge that they have read and agree to all Terms & Conditions and understand that failure to comply may result in removal or disqualification.
