As a premier entertainment convention founded by RDCWorld, Dream Con unites enthusiasts globally to celebrate gaming, anime, sports, film, music & pop culture while fostering inclusivity and a sense of belonging. Dream Con continuously seeks to showcase diverse talents, amplify underrepresented voices in mainstream spaces, and redefine the landscape of fandom events. ‍As of 2025, Dream Con will take place in Houston, TX at the George R. Brown Convention Center.

  • Accountability and Workflow Agreement/Disclosure | As a staff member, you will be expected to be on-site at the venue from THURSDAY, JULY 9th to SUNDAY, JULY 12th for the full duration of each day in a professional capacity for Dream Con. Other personal and third-party professional commitments on-site at the venue will be secondary to official staff meetings and tasks. Please note WEDNESDAY JULY 8th and MONDAY JULY 13TH should be reserved for travel to and from the event. Recreational engagement with event programming will be highly limited for staff members. NOTE: Persons looking for a hybrid experience of working the event and enjoying programming such as main events, special events, meet and greets etc. should consider and prioritize applying to the crew/volunteer program.
  • First-Year Personnel Organizational Classification Status Agreement/Disclosure | All vacanices are temporary positions and exclusively for the Dream Con 2026 event. Opportunites for conversion to permanent staff status will be contingent upon opertional need, department debriefs, and individual performance reviews by the executive leadership .
