The Official Nashville St. Patrick’s Day Parade + Festival welcomes groups that would be supportive of Irish culture.
Parade route is approximately 1.0 mile in the Five Points area of East Nashville.
*In the event of inclement weather on March 14th, the Rain date is March 15th."

Parade Payment will be charged upon acceptance.

2026 INN St. Patrick’s Parade Liability Disclaimer
The Irish Network Nashville (INN), nor any of our sponsors provides liability insurance for the protection of participants, spectators,
merchants or others who participate in the parade activities.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in such an activity, the participant does hereby release and forever discharge the INN
and all other parade sponsors jointly and severally from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by
reason of any others in consequence of participating in the activities.
This waiver and release expressly include any action, cause of action, claim or demand based upon any act, omission or negligence by
the INN and other parade sponsors. This release extends and applies to and also covers and includes, all unknown, unforeseen, unanticipated and unsuspected injuries, damage, loss and liability, and the consequences thereof, as well as those now disclosed and known to exist. The provisions of any state, federal, local or territorial law or statute providing in substance that releases shall not extend to claims, demands, injuries or damages which are unknown or unsuspected to the person executing such release at the time of execution, are hereby expressly waived.
I hereby agree on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, to indemnify the INN (and any of its individual members)
and any other parade sponsors jointly and severally, and to hold the same harmless from and against any and all actions, claims, demands and liabilities, loss, damages and expense of whatever kind or nature, including attorney fees, which may at any time be incurred by them or claimed against them by reason of my participation in the parade. This hold harmless and indemnity provision expressly includes any action, claim or demand based upon any omission or negligence by the INN and other parade sponsors.
LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS: I acknowledge that I derive personal satisfaction and a benefit by virtue of my participation and/or voluntarism with INN, and I willingly engage in INN events and/or other activities (the “Activity”).
RELEASE AND WAIVER
I HEREBY RELEASE, WAIVE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE ANY AND ALL LIABILITY, CLAIMS, AND DEMANDS OF WHATEVER KIND OR NATURE AGAINST THE INN AND ITS AFFILIATED PARTNERS AND SPONSORS, INCLUDING IN EACH CASE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THEIR DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND
AGENTS (THE “RELEASED PARTIES”), EITHER IN LAW OR IN EQUITY, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES OR LOSSES CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE, FAULT OR CONDUCT OF ANY KIND ON THE PART OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEATH, BODILY INJURY, ILLNESS, ECONOMIC LOSS OR OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES, OR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, WHICH I, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNEES, NEXT OF KIN AND/OR LEGALLY APPOINTED OR DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVES, MAY HAVE OR WHICH MAY HEREINAFTER ACCRUE ON MY BEHALF, WHICH ARISE OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE FROM MY PARTICIPATION WITH THE ACTIVITY.
ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK
I acknowledge and understand the following: 1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; 2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and 3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of
injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any
kind on the part of the Released Parties.
MEDICAL ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RELEASE.
I acknowledge the health risks associated with the Activity, including but not limited to transient dizziness, lightheaded, fainting, nausea, muscle cramping, musculoskeletal injury, joint pains, sprains and strains, heart
attack, stroke, or sudden death. I agree that if I experience any of these or any other symptoms during the Activity, I will discontinue my
participation immediately and seek appropriate medical attention. I DO HEREBY RELEASE AND FOREVER DISCHARGE THE
RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY CLAIM WHATSOEVER WHICH ARISES OR MAY HEREAFTER ARISE ON ACCOUNT OF ANY
FIRST AID, TREATMENT, OR SERVICE RENDERED IN CONNECTION WITH MY PARTICIPATION IN THE ACTIVITY.
As an organizer, participant, volunteer, or attendee, You recognize that your participation, involvement and/or attendance at any INN
event (“Activity”) is voluntary and may result in personal injury (including death) and/or property damage. By attending, observing or
participating in the Activity, You acknowledge and assume all risks and dangers associated with your participation and/or attendance at
the Activity, and You agree that: (a) INN and (b) all past, present and future affiliates, successors, assigns, employees, volunteers,
vendors, partners, directors, and officers, of such entities (subsections (a) through (b), collectively, the "Released Parties"), will not be
responsible for any personal injury (including death), property damage, or other loss suffered as a result of your participation in,
attendance at, and/or observation of the Activity, regardless if any such injuries or losses are caused by the negligence of any of the
Released Parties (collectively, the & "Released Claims").
Rules and Regulations
This application is intended to provide the Irish Network Nashville’s “St. Patrick’s Day Parade Nashville” with the information necessary to choose the most appropriate units for the parade. We regret that since the parade length must be limited, not all applicants can be selected. Therefore, we hope that you will provide as complete a description as possible, so that we may have every opportunity to consider your unit’s merits. Decisions of the Irish Network Nashville Board are final and are not subject to review by any other body.
By submitting this application form I acknowledge I have read the Parade Rules & Regulations shown below and if selected to march, agree to be bound by them and any other regulations adopted by the organizers.
The Irish Network Nashville reserves the right to refuse entry into the parade of any signs, symbols, banners or activities that it considers to be in poor taste or in any way objectionable. To be certain that the signs, symbols, banners or activities you intend to display are acceptable, you may want to secure the approval of the Irish Network Nashville in advance.
Dignity will be preserved by the enforcement of all rules and regulations as outlined herein, and officials will be strict in their interpretation thereof.
1. All marching units must have at least two (2) flags in standard size 3x5.
o One (1) Irish flag and One (1) American flag. NO EXCEPTIONS!
o American flag on the right and an Irish flag on the left.
2. The only banners permitted are the ones that identify the unit. Only one banner for each unit.
3. Because this is a city parade for Nashvillians with different beliefs and viewpoints, no political information may be displayed at the parade. The parade is not to be used as a platform for political gains or as a means of
protesting.
4. There will be no objects thrown into the crowd from floats or other vehicles. All objects must be passed out by marchers walking along the edges of the crowd. This is a safety issue enforced by Metro Nashville Police Department as well as Irish Network Nashville stewards.
5. Participants acknowledge the risk of bodily injury and/or property damage inherent in the operation of a parade.
As such, participants accept all consequences resulting from bodily injury and/ or property damage and waive any potential recourse against the parade operators, sponsors or any other affiliated entities.
6. The Consumption of alcoholic beverages or the distribution thereof in the parade marshaling area or along theparade route by any participants is strictly & absolutely prohibited. Violation of this provision in any form or degreewill result in immediate removal of the entire unit no matter what point in the line-up or parade.
– No fees will be returned – No exceptions.
7. Unless specific consent and coordination of the Irish Network Nashville. is given, no entry or routine will be allowed to slow or stop the forward progress of the parade.
8. No offensive or lewd presentation or representation will be allowed. Any inappropriate or improper dress, conductor behavior will not be tolerated. Exhibits and music must not be in bad taste or otherwise arranged so as to cause harm or give offense to spectators or other participants in the Parade.
9. Provisions must be made for animal waste collection before and during the parade.
10. No explosives, fireworks or firearms permitted.
11. No street vendors or food sales permitted.
Decisions on the application and interpretation of these rules and regulations are in the exclusive purview of the directors of the Irish Network Nashville.
