It's time to see how you weave into the Fabric Of Pride. This application is for deisgners who are hoping to be weaved into this years Fabric of Pride which will seek to spotlight amazing desingers with an eye for Pride. With this years runway theme being "Unbreakable Pride, Unshakable Power" we want to hear about how this theme will be woven into the fabric of your designs and why you feel that as a designer you are best fit to be chosen to be apart of San Diego Pride's Innagural Fashion Show "The Fabric Of Pride".
Below we will ask for not only your inspirations for past collections and or looks but we want to get into the fabrics of your pride and what makes you who you are as this show looks to leave an impact that is felt far beyond just the runway.
We will be asking for:
- The Fabric Of Your Pride (Tell us about yourself and/or your brand)
- The Fabric Of Your Vision (Tell us about the collection you'll be create for the runway based on our theme)
- The Fabric Of Your Hands (Tell us about your past works and/ or collections or looks)
- This may require supporting documents in the form of videos and or photos
- The Fabric Of Your Work (Tell us about you past work experience or any other shows you have done or things of note to keep in mind when reviewing your application)
Top applicants will be notifited for the next phase in the application process, which will include a panel interview to be coordinated upon the notification of their selection. Priority deadline to apply is December 19, 2025 11:59 PM.

Upon completing this application pending your selection you agree to the following:
Application review and eligibility
- Screening and selection: All application materials, including portfolios, samples, and statements, will be screened by San Diego LGBT Pride (“Pride”) to assess suitability, readiness, and alignment with our event standards. Submission does not guarantee selection.
- Accuracy of information: Applicants represent and warrant that all information submitted is true, complete, and current. Pride may rescind consideration or selection if materials are misleading or incomplete.
- Professional standards: Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to deliver finished looks, timely communications, and event-day readiness. Pride reserves the right to decline applicants who do not meet minimum production, safety, or professional benchmarks.
Participation fees, benefits and confirmation
- Participation fee (if selected): There is no fee to apply to be a designer. However, selected designers must submit the required participation fee by the stated deadline to secure their place. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the spot. Please see the fee policy and benefits sections below for more details.
- Fee policy: Participation fees are non-refundable and only applicable to those who are selected except under terms stated in an executed contractual agreement. San Diego Pride is committed to accessibility and ensuring that all selected designers enjoy a seamless, supportive experience throughout their work with us. If there are extenuating financial circumstances Pride may grant installment plans or fee waivers upon request.
- Benefits: San Diego Pride is pleased to offer selected designers a benefits package designed to recognize and support their contributions. Benefits may include opportunities for enhanced public relations visibility, premium ticket offerings, and accommodations in premium lodging. The full benefits package will be shared and discussed in detail during the designer selection process.
Agreements and compliance
- Binding agreements: If selected, the designer agrees to execute Pride’s standard contractual documents, including but not limited to: scope of services and deliverables, code of conduct and risk mitigation, confidentiality and proprietary information, photography/recording and publicity, and any other applicable event addenda.
- Policies and deadlines: Designers must comply with all production timelines, rehearsals, fittings, technical specs, safety protocols, and on-site instructions issued by Pride or its authorized representatives.
- Conduct and safety: Designers, teams, and models must adhere to professional, inclusive, and safe conduct at all times. Pride may remove any designer from the show for violations of conduct, safety risks, harassment, discrimination, or non-compliance.
Intellectual property, publicity, and confidentiality
- Designer IP: Designers retain ownership of their original works. By participating, designers grant Pride a limited, royalty-free license to photograph, record, and publicly display event imagery that includes their works for event promotion, documentation, and archival purposes.
- Confidential information: Designers agree not to disclose non-public information received from Pride, including production plans, technical specifications, and proprietary processes.
Risk & Insurance
- Assumption of risk: Designers acknowledge that live events involve inherent risks and agree to follow Pride’s safety protocols. Designers are responsible for their property and equipment; Pride is not liable for loss, theft, or damage except as expressly stated in a signed agreement.
- Insurance: Pride may require proof of insurance (e.g., general liability) for designers and/or teams. If required, proof must be provided by the stated deadline.
Cancellation, withdrawal, and changes
- Applicant withdrawal: If no longer interested, applicants agree to cancel their application through Eventeny and/or notify the event organizers in writing.
- Post-selection withdrawal: After selection, withdrawal must be submitted in writing. Participation fees remain non-refundable, and late withdrawals may impact future eligibility.
- Event changes: Pride may modify event format, schedule, or venue for safety, compliance, or operational reasons. Pride will make reasonable efforts to notify designers and provide updated instructions
Communications and timelines
- Primary communications: Designers must maintain active email and Eventeny messaging, respond within stated timeframes, and meet all deliverable deadlines. Non-responsiveness may result in removal from consideration or the show.
- Pre-event requirements: Designers must complete required forms, fittings, model lists, look-by-look details, and technical specs by deadlines provided. Missed deadlines may result in reduced runway time or removal.
