Catrina & Catrino Contest – Terms & Conditions
Eligibility:

• Open to participants of all ages.
• Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Participants must register before the contest begins.
• Late entries may not be accepted.
• 
  Costume Guidelines:
• Costumes and makeup must be respectful of the Día de los Muertos tradition and cultural heritage.
  No offensive, violent, or inappropriate content will be allowed.
  Props are permitted but must be safe for use in a public space.
  Judging Criteria:
• Winners will be chosen by audience vote based on creativity, costume design, and overall presentation.
  In the event of a tie, the event organizers will make the final decision.
  All judging decisions are final.
  Conduct:
• Participants must maintain respectful behavior toward other contestants, judges, staff, and audience members.
  Any inappropriate conduct may result in disqualification.
  Liability:
• The event organizers, venue, and sponsors are not responsible for any injuries, damages, or loss of personal property during the event.
  By participating, contestants agree to assume all personal risk.
  Media Release:
• By entering the contest, participants grant permission for event organizers to use photos, videos, and likenesses for promotional and marketing purposes.
  Prizes:
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
  Winners must be present to claim their prize.
