Williamsburg, Virginia - January 29 - February 1, 2026

The Last Word Academy aspires to grow the festival's positive community of diverse performers from around the country, and is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join ensemble improv teams for the 2026 festival.

Selected performers will be placed on an ensemble team with a dedicated coach and provided instruction culminating in a set preceding a headlining act on the Friday or Saturday night of the festival. Additional details including information on ensemble coaches and teams are available at lastwordfestival.com/academy.

This form closes at the end of day on November 23, and the festival reserves the right to close the submission process prior to the final deadline if necessary given the quantity of entries received.

If selected for placement on a team, performers will be charged the additional fee of $150 with the payment method on file upon notice of acceptance.
