Performers, Demonstrators, and Attractions

The Richmond Ren Faire is looking for local and regional performers, artisan demonstrations, and interactive attractions to help us build a celebration full of creativity and connection on April 18–19, 2026 at Dorey Park.

We’re hoping to connect with:

• Stage & Roaming Performers – musicians, actors, acrobats, puppeteers, comedians, and more!
• Demonstrators & Artisans – hands-on crafts, historical demonstrations, and workshops that invite people to learn and participate. (Please note that vendors/merchants require a separate application).
• Attractions / Interactive Experience Providers – games, quests, participatory art, or anything that encourages guests to dive into the environment.

Why get involved?

• We love highlighting local and regional talent, and we want to showcase the richness and diversity of our community.
• While many parts of the Faire are organized in-house, we’re opening this call to the public to ensure everyone has a chance to shape the experience.
• This is a chance to share your creativity, engage directly with the community, and be part of Richmond’s very first annual Ren Faire.

Terms & Conditions

• Applications will be processed by January 10, 2026.
• You must agree that you are 18+ to apply.
  • Youth performers are permitted, but the applicant must be 18+.
• Please make sure that you are available for the dates that you selected.
• If you are providing an attraction that requires a physical set up, you must be available for Friday, April 17 load in.
• Please note that a formal contract will be provided to selected participants.
