Panel Submission

Thank you for your interest in bringing fun programming to K-pop Minicon! You may submit up to 4 panel applications, but submission does NOT guarantee acceptance. You will be emailed if approved. Good luck!

PROGRAMMING POLICY

1. Panels are typically 45 minutes long with a 1 hour timeslot or 1.5 hours long with a 2 hour timeslot. During the convention, panelists are expected to arrive ten (10) minutes early to their scheduled room. Panelists must check-in with the room managers or volunteers to ensure proper setup. Panels must end ten (10) minutes before the scheduled end time to ensure a proper transition from one panel/event to the next.

2. Panelists must be 16 or older

3.  Panelists are NOT allowed to 

• Provide food or beverages unless sealed in its original package
• Rearrange the room’s seating without prior permission 
• Install or tamper with any convention audio/visual equipment.
• Charge an entry fee into the panel or event.

4. The following panel types are banned:

• ‍Versus Panels (i.e. BTS vs Stray Kids etc)
• Panels that promote or teach stalking or "sasaeng" behavior
• Role-Playing Panels
• RDP Panels (please instead fill out our RDP application)
• Panels that sexualize underage idols in any way (even if panelists themselves are underage.) Mature (18+) Panels cannot discuss or feature any underage idols

5. Mature Panels

Mature Panel are welcome! Panels that include any adult material or inappropriate content will be tagged as an 18+ panel/event, which means attendees must show proof of age before entering. All members of a group or team hosting an 18+ panel or event must be 18 years of age or older by the event date

Examples of what mature panels may contain are: 

• Suggestive nudity
• Copious amounts of adult language
• References to alcohol or drugs
• Sexuality/Sexual discussions
• Triggering or offense material
