Zenkaikon 2026 Programming Application
About the event
About the application
Thank you so much for submitting programming for Zenkaikon 2026! Without dedicated presenters like you, Zenkaikon would not be the convention it is. Our members trust us to have excellent programming, whether it be a panel, workshop, or anything else, and we value your contribution to setting the programming bar at a high level for our members.
This year's theme is "Sakura Festival," and any submissions on that theme will be appreciated and given more priority.
A few things to note before starting the application:
- We expect all program-runners to show up 10 minutes before their program's start time, present their program as scheduled, and adhere to all Zenkaikon policies. Presenters not following these policies may be rejected for future applications. Selected Speed Panelists must arrive at the start of the Speed Panel and have five minutes to connect their laptop or device.
- As a rule, we do not accept submissions that require an admission fee. All programming is open to all registered members. A small materials-only fee may be charged on a case-by-case basis for workshops that involve creating crafts. Please email m.jean@zenkaikon.org before submitting (or at time of submission) any workshop that might require a material fee.
- Up to three memberships (or membership reimbursements) will be offered to the specified presenters of approved programs. Multiple memberships will not be offered to the same person if they are approved for more than one program.
- You do not need to pre-register before your programming is accepted.
- If you pre-register and your programming is accepted, your membership will be reimbursed in a timely manner. (The same applies to up to two additional pre-registered co-presenters.)
- If you do not pre-register and your programming is accepted, you (and your additional presenters, if applicable) will receive a registration code that gives you a membership(s) for this year.
- If you pre-register, but your programming is not accepted, and you therefore do not wish to attend Zenkaikon, you can transfer your membership in accordance with our "Refund and Transfer" policy, which is found at the bottom of our Registration page for full details.
- If you wish to submit multiple programs, you must complete this application form separately for each submission. This Eventeny form does not have the ability to have different programming entries on one form submission.
- Due to venue construction, we will have more programs waitlisted for Zenkaikon 2026. You will be notified if your program is Wait-Listed.
- We will begin notifying applicants of program application status (accepted, waitlisted, rejected) in mid-January 2026.
- Be respectful of all Zenkaikon staff, volunteers, fellow presenters, and attendees.
