Join us on Saturday, October 25th from 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM EST for a vibrant evening of celebration, connection, and community. The festivities begin with our colorful Parade, bringing joy and visibility through the streets. After the parade, stroll through the lively Night Market, where local vendors, artisans, and community partners will showcase their work, offering everything from handmade goods to delicious treats. As the evening unfolds, gather under the stars for our screening of Rainbow Cinema, a two-hour family-friendly movie screening that will close out the night. The market will run until 9PM, and the film will wrap by 10:00 PM, concluding the event. This is more than a celebration—it’s a chance to honor Pride, connect with others, and share a welcoming space where everyone can feel seen, loved, and free to be themselves. Whether you’re marching, shopping, volunteering, sponsoring, or simply showing up to enjoy the night, there’s a place for you Out in the Open.

Calling all sparkle lovers, rainbow riders, and neon dreamers! Get ready to roll into history with us for the FIRST-EVER Upstate Pride SC's "Out in the Open Rainbow Parade".
This isn’t just a march… we added Golf Carts too —and we want YOU behind the wheel or riding shotgun Limited 4 and 6 passenger golf carts are available to rent—so grab your crew and reserve yours ASAP! Deck your cart out in neon, day-glo, rainbows, and all the things that make you Happy, Visible, and Proud! This is your chance to show off your Pride creativity and light up the streets like never before. Reserve your golf cart below.

No cart? No problem! You can still march, strut, and sparkle with us on foot—because every step is a step for Pride. Register your Organization below for free. Let’s make this first parade unforgettable!

Terms & Conditions

1.Registration

Apply to Rent a 4 or 6 passenger Golf cart

2. Driver Requirements

All golf cart drivers must be 21 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
Drivers shall not operate under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or impairing substances
3. Passenger Requirements
A maximum of four (4) passengers are allowed per 4 seater golf cart at any time
A maximum of six (6) passengers per 6 seater golf cart at any time
No minors under the age of 12 may ride on the golf cart.
All passengers must remain seated inside the cart with limbs kept inside the vehicle at all times.
4. Vehicle & Decoration Requirements
You agree to inspect your rental golf cart to ensure it’s in good working condition with functional brakes, headlights, taillights, and a reflective slow-moving vehicle emblem.
Decorations must be removable and shall not alter or damage the golf cart’s original condition.
Parade officials reserve the right to inspect and approve decorations before participation.
5. Parade Conduct
Speed must not exceed 5 mph and must comply with instructions given by police or parade officials.
No candy, objects, or materials may be thrown from the golf cart. Any distribution of items must be done by walkers alongside the cart.
