IbashoCon 2026 Panel Submission

Have an awesome idea for a panel or event you would like to run at IbashoCon? Well we want to hear it! Please read the information below carefully before submitting your application.

1. Please note, that panel hosting and participation does not guarantee free entry into the convention. Panel hosts must have pre-registered for IbashoCon prior to submitting a panel. 
2. Panel submissions will be open from now until December. Any panels submitted after this deadline will most likely not be considered due to time constraints.
3. IbashoCon cannot guarantee time slot availability for panels until the convention schedule is finalized. Please keep this in mind if your schedule is limited.
4. Panels must be relevant to IbashoCon, Asian pop-culture, video games, and adjacent topics. IbashoCon reserves the right to reject any panels we do not deem appropriate for the convention.
5. At this time, panels must be suitable for all ages, no 18+ panels. IbashoCon will notify panel hosts should this change.
6. Panel topics must be respectful of both the subject matter they contain and the audience. Panels that feature any sort of harassment or bullying are banned. 
7. Panels cannot be used for solicitation of goods or services.
8. If for any reason you are no longer able to host the panel which you have submitted, please notify IbashoCon as soon as possible so that others are given a fair chance to have their panel accepted.
9. Please be sure to include any relevant documents or photos for your panel to help us get a better understanding of your vision!

1. IbashoCon reserves the right to reject any panel that we do not deem appropriate for our convention.
2. Panelists are responsible for communication with IbashoCon in regards to any changes in schedule or availability. Panelists who are unable to complete their panel or who are unable to keep an open communication with IbashoCon may not be allowed to submit future panels for consideration.
3. It is the responsbility of the panelist to meet with the AV team prior to their panel to ensure that any laptops or other electrical devices are in working conditions. IbashoCon does not provide any additional equipment or internet access for panelists.
