By submitting an application to perform at the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, all performers and group representatives agree to the following terms and conditions:
Performance Approval:
All performances must be pre-approved by event organizers. Acts should be family-friendly, inclusive, and appropriate for a general audience.
Arrival & Check-In:
Performers must arrive and check in at the designated time and location provided in the confirmation email. Late arrivals may forfeit their performance slot.
Traffic and parking can be overwhelming- please make sure you are on time.
Performance Duration:
Each act will be given a specific time slot. Performers must adhere to the scheduled duration to ensure the event runs smoothly.
Sound & Technical Requirements:
Performers must submit any sound or technical needs (e.g., microphones, music playback, instruments) at least two weeks before the event. Last-minute requests may not be accommodated.
Conduct:
Performers are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. The use of inappropriate language or gestures, or disruptive behavior, may result in immediate removal from the event.
Liability:
Performers are responsible for submitting a COI with the City of Boynton Beach listed as additionally insured.
Performers participate at their own risk.
The event organizers are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property or for any injuries sustained during the event.
Promotion & Media Release:
By participating, performers grant permission for their name, image, and performance to be photographed, filmed, or recorded for promotional use by the event organizers.
Cancellations:
If a performer must cancel, they are required to notify event organizers at least 72 hours in advance. Repeated or last-minute cancellations may affect future participation.
Weather Policy:
This is an outdoor event and may proceed in light rain or cold conditions. In the case of severe weather, the event may be modified or canceled at the discretion of the organizers.
Minors:
Any performers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
