Music/Entertainment Application

Thank you for your interest in participating in Southport Springfest, this application is designed to gather important details about your act to ensure a seamless and exciting experience for everyone involved.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be 18 years or older or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
• All music acts must adhere to the family-friendly nature of Southport Springfest unless otherwise specified.

Submission Requirements

• Applications must be completed in full to be considered.
• All supporting materials (e.g., music samples, and press kits) must be accurate and reflective of the act's work.

Selection Process

• The selection of acts is at the sole discretion of the Southport Springfest committee. Submission does not guarantee a performance slot.
• Selected acts will be notified via email and must respond within the specified timeframe to secure their spot.

Performance Agreement

• Approved applicants must sign a performance contract detailing payment, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Payment for approved applicants will be in the amount of $575.
• Failure to return the signed contract by the deadline may result in forfeiture of the performance slot.

Code of Conduct

• Performers must act professionally and respectfully towards event staff, other artists, and the audience.
• Content deemed inappropriate, offensive, or harmful may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the event.

Cancellation Policy

• Performers must notify the Southport Springfest team promptly if they are unable to perform.
• Late cancellations may affect future participation opportunities.

Liability

• Southport Springfest is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
• Performers participate at their own risk and agree to hold the event organizers harmless for any injuries or accidents.

Use of Media

• By applying, you grant City of Southport d.b.a Southport Springfest  the right to use submitted materials (e.g., photos, music, videos) for promotional purposes.
• Live performances may be recorded or photographed for marketing or archival purposes.

Southport Springfest reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Applicants will be notified of significant changes.
