Join the Dallas Downtown Association for the 2025 Dallas Days Parade! Our theme this year is "Dallas in Wonderland." We welcome you to decorate in whatever "wonderland" represents to you: floral, colorful, whimsical, playful...there are so many possibilities! We can't wait to see your creativity.
Awards will be given in the following categories:
1. The Dallas Days Parade 2025 Grand Champion:
The best overall entry in every category. #1. The finest. The top choice. The cream of the crop!
2. The Wonderland Awards:
Our awards representing best use of the theme in separate entry categories:
Non-Commercial
Commercial floats
3. The Down the Rabbit Hole Award:
Best decorated mode of transportation
(this could include classic cars, horses, giant semis...)
4. The Which Path Do I Take Award: best walking entry
5. The Tea Party Award: judges' choice
Terms & Conditions
BASICS
- It is important to us that you are happy and have fun at our community Parade.
- We want all the entries to be in good taste and promote the goals of community spirit and community
pride. Thus, offensive entries are not allowed. - Abide by all state and local laws.
- The Parade starts promptly at 11:00 a.m. and ends noonish+. At the end, the Parade will disperse on
Main Street south of Washington. - All entries must be decorated to include commercial vehicles.
- If available, carry a mobile phone with you on Parade Day. We might want to contact you from the
Parade Control Station. Be sure we have the number. - If you have questions on Parade Day, check with the Parade Control Station.
- Lineup is generally first come, first served with certain exceptions, particularly at the beginning of the Parade
(color guard, dignitaries, fire trucks, etc.). The Parade Control Station will be working to ensure noisy and
musical entrants are spaced appropriately. Animal entries may also need special placement. - By entering, you consent to the use of photos of you and your participants on social media, marketing materials and websites.
- By entering, participants release the Dallas Downtown Association of any liability related to injuries, losses, or damages to your vehicle/s, person or other and waive the right to hold the other party legally responsible for injuries, losses, or damages.
- Please share all of the information here and in the parade rules with your entire group.
