Stone Ridge Rangoli Competition

Stone Ridge Association is excited to host its third Festival of Lights - A Diwali and Tihar Celebration on November 9, 2024.  We will have a Rangoli Competition where teams can register to complete a Rangoli in one of the parking spaces in the parking lot where the celebration is being held. The competition will start promptly at 3:00 PM.   Please see the competition rules below and if there are any questions, please reach out to Ebony at esparkes@stoneridgehoa.org.  

Rangoli Competition Rules: 

1. Rangoli art should be of 3 ft x 3 ft.
2. There will be only one round of competition.
3. Maximum time to complete the Rangoli is two hours. Judging will begin promptly at 5:00 PM. 
4. Teams are responsible for providing their own materials required to prepare Rangoli. 
5. A group may have not more than three participants.
6. Multiple entries by one person are not allowed.
7. Any act of indiscipline by participants calls for cancellation of registration.

Judging Criteria:

Judging will be based on the following Criteria.

1. Overall Appearance and appeal
2. Details and Clarity in Rangoli art.
3. Color combination.
4. Creativity.
