About the event

Dream Con is an anime and gaming convention that started as a dream but was brought to fruition by social media influencers, RDCWorld. RDCWorld dreamed of bringing together like-minded individuals to enjoy and celebrate multiple interests including pop culture, comics, art, cosplay, music and much more. As of 2025, Dream Con will take place in Houston, TX. ‍ At Dream Con, it doesn’t matter if you are a novice or an avid fan, this is a place where you will be accepted as you are! With guests ranging from notable voice actors to popular content creators, you never know who you might Naruto run into. Dream Con provides endless entertainment for you all weekend long, with a traditional artist alley, engaging panels, memorable meet & greets, and invigorating concerts. Dream Con also has staple events such as: All-Star Super Smash Bros Tournament, Crew Battle, Dodgeball, and Cosplay Contest and Runway.

About the application

• PROGRAM DESCRIPTION • Priority Applicant Deadline: Friday, February 28th at 11:59pm CST. Waitlist Deadline: TBD. CONTACT EMAIL: creators@dreamconvention.com NOTE: This invitation-only program is curated by Dream Con Staff. Status updates  issued on a rolling basis through March however due to the volume of submission only selected applicants moving forward in the process may receive correspondence. • ABOUT THE PROGRAM: In support of a dynamic community committed to bringing visibility of the convention to the world at large through the promulgation of their synergy and shared experiences, Dream Con is proud to introduce The Creator Program. A new initiative engineered to unify and elevate voices dedicated to awareness, inclusivity, and positivity surrounding RDCWorld's flagship event in Texas.This program will empower rising and renowned creators with an intersectional passion for both Dream Con's legacy (e.g. programming, history, impact, outreach, etc.) and the modern landscape of multimedia entertainment (e.g. film, television, music, sports etc.) Members of the creator program will work with each other and event staff to curate experiences and tell stories that enrich the attendee journey to Dream Con.

Terms & Conditions

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of the application submission. NOTE: Valid photo ID required on-site for pickup of Creator Badge via registration coordinator 
  • Support pre-event audience engagement initiatives and event development broadcasts/announcements/releases with executive leadership, trusted partners/sponsors and official talent.
  • Facilitate official giveaways of Dream Con products and services (i.e. merch, admission badges, special event tickets etc.) via the creator’s accounts/platform based on approval guidelines from executive leadership.
  • Assist with curation of cross-platform cultural spotlights, professional showcases, and/or heritage celebrations.
  • Participate in digital campaigns or announcements and joint posts with official Dream Con accounts/platforms.
  • Accepted members must be consistently active (biweekly or monthly) on at least two (2) major social media platforms for a minimum of six (6) months with timestamped content that is publicly viewable between that timeframe. Approved Creators must maintain this consistency throughout their affiliation with the program or will be removed.
  • There is no minimum metric such as follower count required to submit however there are certain milestones/thresholds which are highly recommended to improve your chances. These are not meant to be a barrier to entry but rather an important to benchmark to ensure you are prepared for the challenges, success, and workflow that can come with participating in programs of this caliber.
  • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval as there are limited spaces for this opportunity. All qualified applicants may not be approved. If you create with a team (photographer, videographer, editor, etc.), it is highly recommended that each member complete a separate application to maximize autonomy. DREAM CON reserves the right to limit the number of badges provided to any organization.
  • If selected and approved to participate in The Creator Program, additional information regarding placement and responsibilitieswill be provided in your confirmation email. Every individual applying for a DREAM CON Creator Badge  may only apply once. If multiple/duplicate applications are received then the most recent submission will be evaluated by the selection committee and the others will be voided. If four or more submissions for the same applicant within the same program cycle are submitted, the applicant's general consideration will be rescinded and they will be barred from future submissions/consideration until further notice.
  • What if I already purchased a badge? Dream Con will not process refunds for standard admission badges purchased prior to transmission of a candidate’s approval, rejection, or other application status update. Approved members of the Creator Program can contact the personnel and email inbox outlined in their confirmation correspondence regarding options for such scenarios.

No agreements, contracts, or binding documentation will be executed without the full input and consent of the creator. NOTE: Neither general submitted applicants or approved members are entitled to guaranteed compensation or complimentary goods and services due to their affiliation with this program.
  • APPLICANT POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | Name Registration and Age Requirement: All program participants must be eighteen (18) years of age by date of submission to participate in this program. On-site event coordinators will require a valid photo ID be presented upon arrival on-site to receive your badge either directly by the creator or via a secondary representative such as an agent, assistant, or manager whose contact information must be communicated and verified in advance of pick-up.
  • APPLICANT POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | EVENT DISCLAIMER: Per the policy outlined on the website and each badge’s product description, all badges must be picked up on-site at the venue with a valid photo ID. Please ensure the first name and last name listed above are entered as they appear on a valid photo ID. Our registration area is only permitted to verify and distribute tickets/badges to the names as they appear on the valid photo ID. This verification is only for registration. Any desired aliases may be used after pick-up. If a group would like to experience the rewards/benefits of this program together, each person must submit their own individual applications for review and approval by the Dream Con event leadership. All personal information is for administrative purposes ONLY.
  • APPLICATION POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | Accomodations and Compensation: Dream Con does not offer complimentary travel, flights, or compensation for selected submissions via this form. It's the responsibility of each individual to research and purchase their own accommodations if they intend on appearing on-site at the event.

  • APPLICANT POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | TERMS AND CONDITIONS: This is an exclusive opportunity with limited availability and therefore BADGES ARE NOT GUARANTEED TO EVERY QUALIFYING APPLICANT. Like all attendees, Creators must adhere to the general rules and policies established by Dream Con and the hosting venue(s) both on-site and via the internet. The benefits of this badge are limited solely to the personal use of the approved member that it was distributed to by Dream Con staff. The privileges of this badge are non-transferable and DO NOT extend to any additional individuals or groups associated with the aforementioned approved member. Each person must possess their own Dream Con staff-approved creator badge to participate in this program and redeem its perks. Recipients of this badge are NOT registered/classified as official talent of Dream Con. Recipients should not behave or present themselves as such in person or online.
  • APPLICANT POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | Members of the CREATOR PROGRAM are not entitled to talent-related accommodations including, but not limited to, the green room, travel, lodging, per diems, security detail, advertisement/promotion etc. CREATORS are not entitled to guaranteed sponsorships, partnerships or any financial compensation from Dream Con, RDCWorld or related affiliates/stakeholders but can opt in to potential opportunities by designating that via the question on this application. Violation of these terms and conditions will incur infractions up to and including being permanently banned from Dream Con and related events. Each badge is valid only for the year/duration of the event for which it is issued and then expires. Persons must inquire or reapply for consideration each year/new event to renew their eligibility. Returning members are not guaranteed renewed eligibility in subsequent years.
  • APPLICANT POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT | If selected for The Creator Program, other badge types that are purchased/acquired before, during, or after a candidate receives an application status update will not be refunded. If not selected for The Creator Program, there may not be a subsequent, dedicated opportunity for rejected candidates to purchase a standard badge (whether sold-out or not.) Applicants that anticipate purchasing standard badges as an insurance policy to ensure attendance should assess this risk and understand these scenarios before applying.
