North Atlanta Events Announces the 3rd Annual “Festival of Trees” to Kick Off the Holiday Season!

North Atlanta Events is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual “Festival of Trees,” a festive celebration dedicated to ushering in the holiday season. This year, the event will take place at Town Center at Cobb 400 Ernest Barrett Pkwy Kennesaw, GA 30041, from November 9th,2024 to December 26th, 2024. The festival aims to bring together the community in a spirit of joy and generosity, featuring beautifully decorated trees, holiday activities, and opportunities to give back.

This year, the “Festival of Trees” is proudly sponsored by the Xtreme Dreams Foundation of Atlanta, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to supporting community initiatives and enhancing the lives of those in need. Together, North Atlanta Events and Xtreme Dreams Foundation aim to create a magical experience while raising funds for local charities and programs.

Attendees can expect a variety of activities, including:

- A stunning display of beautifully decorated Christmas trees, each representing various local nonprofit organizations.
- Family-friendly activities, including crafts, games, and visits with Santa Claus.
- Live entertainment featuring local musicians and performers.
- Opportunity to participate in deciding on the "Best Tree" contest with proceeds going to one winning nonprofit organization in attendance.

The “Festival of Trees” application is open only to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations. Proceeds from the event will go directly to the winning "Best Tree" nonprofit contestant.

Terms and Conditions for the “Festival of Trees”

1. Eligibility
- Participation in the “Festival of Trees” is limited to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations only and will be the same participants for Holiday Market 2. NO NEW APPLICANTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
- Each organization may enter one tree for display from November 9th through December 26th. TREES ONLY WILL REMAIN STANDING AFTER HOLIDAY MARKET 1 - HOLIDAY MARKET 2

2. Tree Decoration Schedule
- Participating organizations must be available to decorate their individual trees on the following dates:
- November 7th from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- November 8th from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- All decorations must be completed by the end of the designated decoration period.

3. Limited Spots
- There are a total of 15 available spots for participating organizations. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Contest Details
- A “Best Tree” contest will take place during the Holiday Market 1 and Holiday Market 2 events. The winner will receive a prize of $1,000 sponsored by the Xtreme Dreams Foundation of Atlanta on Holiday Market 1 and another opportunity to win for Holiday Market 2. EACH CONTEST WILL HAVE A NEW NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WINNER
- Criteria for judging will be a tally of the most voted best tree for each event.

5. Tree Removal
- All trees must be removed on the following dates:
- December 26th between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- December 27th between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- NO EXCEPTIONS will be made for tree removal outside of these designated times. (If removal is done by North Atlanta Events or any of its staff members there will be a $150 removal fee apllied and must be paid before ornaments and trees are returned to the nonprofit organization.)

6. Liability
- Participating organizations are responsible for their trees and decorations. North Atlanta Events and the Xtreme Dreams Foundation of Atlanta are not liable for any loss or damage to trees and decorations during the event or after if removed by North Atlanta Events or its staff.

7. Agreement
- By submitting an application, participating organizations agree to adhere to all terms and conditions outlined above.
