About the event

Fayetteville Comic Con is a firmly established, twice annual pop culture convention held in April and October of each year at the Crown Expo Center in Fayetteville, NC. We represent the best in geek culture and focus on community over commodity. Offering vendors, artists and celebrity guests from comic books, anime, horror, cosplay, gaming, movies and other pop culture fandom, "If It's Geek, We Got It!"

About the application

This is the application to participate in our Character Creator Master-Class Competition, which has replaced our taditional CosPlay Master Class.

 

The description of the competition is linked below.

 

The competition will occur during our CosPlays Got Talent event on Saturday Evening from 5:00 until 9:00 PM.

 

Schedule will be published closer to the event.

 

Prizes and Trophies are to be announced, but we are anticipating:

 

1st Place - $500

2nd Place - $200

3rd Place - $100

 

Four $50 Judges Choice Awards.

  • Step 2 - A written dossier (biography) of the character (WRITER),

  • Step 4 - A one-page dialogue driven performance (CosPlayer).
  • Step 5 - Pre-submissions must include a selected photograph of the character in an action scenario (Photographer).
