The antidote to the average con, Five Points Fest brings together tastemakers, misfits, and rebels into a one-of-a-kind marketplace. Five Points Fest is a curated celebration of world-class, cutting-edge, designer toys, alternative comics, and independent artists. Featuring crazy monsters, bizarre creatures, awesome robots, weird aliens, and pop culture perversions, we bring together like-minded tribes for a massive party, unlike any con you’ve ever attended! Five Points Festival is not the place to find things you already know, it's a place to discover something new!

About the application

Please complete this application to be considered for the Live Painting event

 

Each artist is competing for the awesome prize of designing an exclusive collectible beer can for Five Points Fest! 

Here are the official rules of the painting competition:

* Each artist will be provided with one primed board along with paint, caps, and paint markers.

* Before the competition starts you will write your Instagram handle at the top of your primed board.

* You will have ONE HOUR to paint whatever you like.

* At the end of ONE HOUR, the audience will vote on the winners by applause

* The winning paintings from each skirmish will be voted on by a panel of judges, and narrowed down to two finalists who will have a final battle at 4:30/5 pm to determine the 2024 winner!

If a competition is not your jam, that’s okay too! We’re going to have live painting all day on Sunday as well!

On Sunday we will have an assortment of canvases available to work on. You are welcome to use the provided materials, or bring your own, or use a combination of the two. You are also welcome to collaborate with other artists!

There are three windows available to paint!
11am - 1pm
1pm-3pm
3pm-5pm

All live paintings will be featured on our social media channels, so please send over your Instagram handles for us to list and tag you!
