S-W Lighted Christmas Parade Application

Old Fashioned Christmas 

Lighted Christmas Parade December 2nd, 2023 

No Santas Please

Judging will be done during the parade. They will be driving past the
entries so be sure everything is working when everything gets started
at 5 p.m.
The winners will be posted on Tuesday, December 6th
at the Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce office
810 Metcalf Street.
They will also be available on-line at:

Please contact the Chamber at (360) 855-1841 to check on winners
and pick up prizes.
No campaign or political entries will be accepted. All entrees are
subject to approval by the 2023 Sedro-Woolley Christmas Parade
Committee. The Committee reserves the right to remove at assembly,
or at any time during the Parade, any entrant not following
instructions of police or parade officials.
Check-in starts around 4 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
*Applications received after the deadline of December 1 at 3:30 pm
will be automatically placed at the end of the line-up.

No political entries.
We are encouraging entrants to be creative with their own theme
for the season, judges will be looking for the most creative. This
year’s theme is an Old Fashioned Christmas. 
-Lights required: Be creative as possible with your lighting; battery-operated lights and clip-on mini lights work great! Do not turn
them on until the parade starts. We want to see them “glow.” Your
theme should be carried throughout your entry including costumes
and decorations.
-INSURANCE Evidence of your insurance must be submitted with
the parade application. All floats and motorized vehicles must name
Sedro-Woolley Chamber of Commerce and the City of Sedro-Woolley
as “additional insured”.
All equestrian groups floats, and motorized vehicles will have
combined single limits of liability, not less than $300,000. Individual
Equestrians will have combined single limits of personal liability not
less than $100,000 (a copy of your current homeowner’s or renter’s
declaration page is ok).
-NOTE-
A copy of the policy declaration page is all that is needed.
DO NOT THROW CANDY, Please hand it out, it will be dark and we do not want injuries, last year we almost had a child run over running in the road after candy.
