The Nightmare Weekend After Dark Cabaret

Nightmare Weekend is now accepting applications for Nerdlesque & Drag performers that wish to perform in The Nightmare Weekend After Dark Cabaret. 

This is a curated event for professional nerdlesque & drag performers to show off their talent to the Nightmare Weekend audience!  

Selection will be made by committee and will be based on ORIGINALITY, COSTUME, EXECUTION, and CHARACTER

Performers chosen shall receive the following

1. One 3-day weekend pass to Nightmare Weekend per performer.

2. Solo performers shall receive $75 per act.

3. Troupes shall receive $150 per act.

4. Promotion on our website & social media as a featured performer.

5. Travel expenses and lodging will not be provided. 

Rules

1. Performer applications for Nightmare Weekend Richmond are due prior to August 20, 2023

2. Acceptance into the Revue is not guaranteed.

3. All performers MUST be 18 and over. All performers must provide photo identification. 

4. Performers may enter as a solo performer or in a group.

5. Music MUST be emailed in advance.

6. There is a 4-minute time limit per act.

7. You may enter up to 3 acts.

8. Running order shall be chosen randomly.

9. Pasties & G-strings (or anything hiding these zones) are REQUIRED for all participants at all times.

10. Your image can and will be used in future promotional materials.

11. Rules are subject to change at the discretion of management.

12. No harmful or potentially harmful materials will be allowed. This includes, but is not limited to: glitter, water, cigarettes, flames, fireworks, and any other substance that can be fired, launched, or dripped.
