Description
This spectacular Turquoise gem is set in a copper, flower-like setting. I cut a scalloped backplate, textured it and soldered on the copper bezel, as well as a copper tube on the back to hold the small link, copper chain. The necklace is 24 inches with the pendant 1 inch of the total.
Turquoise is noted for promoting overall well-being, peace, truth, compassion, and communication. It is one of the oldest gems known to be used for jewelry, from the Aztecs to the Egyptians.
