Trees by Sage

Do you know the feeling when you see something and it just looks right, sparks something intangible in your mind? That's how I felt when I saw this photo snap by Sage Cattabriga-Alosa, local pro skier. I felt really inspired and reached out asking to paint it - to my surprise he agreed and allowed me to create my version on canvas, Resulting in "Trees by Sage". This is one of my recent favorites, the composition is unexpected and the coloring is incredibly reminiscent of late afternoons and last chair on the mountain.
