Description
The long Spire Necklace is a cascading tower with horizontal hinges. Each row can fold onto the last and each bar moves freely on the hinge. A visually rigid design with unexpected movement. Assembled with spacer beads of 99% pure silver from Thailand, or matte brass-colored, fired Hematite. Hung on sterling silver curb chain and finished with guitar string bar extensions. Adjustable from 24" to 28" around the neck. 3.5" pendant.

I work part-time as an Architect and value proportion, geometry, and construction. The strings were initially inspired by my family's history in music but the recycling also speaks to my deep respect for the earth and desire to lead a more sustainable lifestyle.
